I am a licensed clinical social worker and a Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner. I believe that everyone has strengths within them that can help them bounce back from stress. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, anger, stress management, and parenting concerns. My goal is to help my clients experience joy and purpose by exploring and using their strengths to create solutions for the problems they are facing. I help my clients by utilizing several treatment approaches such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Body Awareness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and EMDR Therapy.
In addition, I am trained in Collaborative problem solving, and ARC (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency) which aims to treat Traumatic Stress in Children, and their families. My training as a clinician also includes training from the Chicago Parenting Program and CAM-S.
As a therapist, I am client-led and use a strengths-based lens to help my clients recognize the tools they already have to achieve their goals. My passion is to empower those that I work with.
