I am currently accepting clients both in person and virtual and would be honored to support you when you’re ready to begin.
I connect best with individuals who feel and think deeply but struggle to understand or communicate their emotional world to others. You may feel misunderstood, “too much,” or alone in your experiences. You might long for close relationships but find yourself caught in painful or repeating patterns. Many of my clients have experienced attachment wounds, childhood trauma, Complex PTSD, or symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder. You may feel overwhelmed by intense emotions or fear abandonment and rejection. At your core, you want to feel secure, understood, and accepted — both by others and within yourself.

We all want to build a life worth waking up to—a career that gives us purpose and relationships that feel meaningful and supportive. Yet in the process of striving for these goals, our mental health often takes a back seat. Whether you’re coping with grief, depression, persistent sadness, or difficulty managing daily responsibilities, you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll process your experiences, build resilience, and deepen your understanding of yourself. I integrate cultural awareness and spiritual grounding into our work, creating a space where healing feels authentic, empowering, and meaningful to you.

I offer compassionate counseling for teens and adults across Ohio. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. I'm not the kind of therapist who sits silently nodding for an hour. I'll meet you where you are, ask honest questions, and bring warmth (and yes, sometimes humor and play) into our work together. Healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time.

Life can be very challenging at times. We often take care of our physical health and other needs, but may not focus on our mental health. We all deserve to take a step back and take care of ourselves. Many times depression, anxiety and stress can become overwhelming. Taking time to focus on issues like these can help move life in a much more positive direction.

I offer sessions in person in Ohio or online for clients in OH, AZ, MN.
You’re the resilient one—balancing a career and family while white-knuckling through the day. Whether you’re navigating the "identity blur" of postpartum, the high-stakes grief of divorce, or the hum of high-functioning anxiety, you don’t need a generalist. You need a strategist. My ideal client is the parent exhausted from "performing" wellness. Together, we’ll untangle mom-guilt from intuition and reactive-mode from your true values. Our goal isn't just "feeling better"—it’s reclaiming agency. We’ll move you from constant reaction to intentional action, so you can finally be present for the life you’ve worked so hard to build.

If you're ready, I offer a free 15-minute consultations as well as in person and telehealth sessions.
Some weeks you're holding it together. Other weeks a small thing, a comment from your boss, a forgotten text, a Sunday afternoon alone, can knock the whole week sideways. If your inner critic has gotten louder lately, or you're tired of explaining yourself to people who don't quite get it, you're in the right place. I work with women and young adults who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-doubt, and the weight of past experiences that still show up in the present.

Losses, accidents, people, you name it, are downright cruel at times, knocking you off your feet and leaving you clueless on how to move forward. The good news though, there are proven ways that therapy can help you determine how to move forward, understand your needs, become equipped should another crisis occur, and much more.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
