About
I am committed to helping children with emotional and behavioral problems, even the ones others often give up on. I incorporate play and creative hands-on activities to help children learn new skills. Every child is capable of growth and change. I work to help the entire family move past the hurts and toward more loving relationships.
I specialize in treating adopted/foster children who have experienced abuse and neglect, trauma, multiple placements, sexual abuse and attachment problems. I also work with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Divorce, PTSD, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Disruptive Behaviors, Bipolar and Aspergers.
I always try to tackle the core problem, not just smaller symptoms. For younger children I offer a play based, nurturing approach. For older children, I encourage lots of input from parents to get to the bottom of the problem quickly.
