About
I specialize in working with youth and families who have experienced trauma, have difficulty regulating their emotions, or are having difficulties in school. I understand it can be difficult for a child or adolescent to seek mental health services; I use various techniques including play and art to help engage my clients in the counseling process. I make sure to involve clients in every step of the way to ensure that the treatment plan and interventions meet the client’s unique needs. I also offer tele-counseling if transportation is an issue or you simply want to stay home!
I received my Masters in Counseling at Northwestern University. I specialized in child and adolescent development and mental health needs. I have over 6 years of experience working with individuals and families with diverse needs. I receive ongoing evidence-based trauma informed care training and am in the process of becoming a Certified Trauma Practitioner.
I strive to work collaboratively with youth and families to help them address and resolve their concerns so they can lead a fulfilling and successful life. Please reach out to connect with me to discuss your individual or families needs.
