About
Whether you are a tween, teen, or adult, you are not alone! The decision to talk to a counselor, to share pieces of your life with another individual, takes a great deal of strength and courage. In my work as a Professional Counselor, I strive to create a genuine and therapeutic alliance, which enables each client to feel valued and heard, foster change, and achieve clearly set goals.
Among my special interests are depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, grief/loss, self-esteem, relationship and parenting issues. I have spent many years working to strengthen and advocate for families with a background as a parent educator. I am also experienced and passionate about working in community behavioral health.
I believe all people have the potential to build on their personal strengths to experience peace and joy in their lives. I use a person-centered and integrative approach in collaboration with clients to meet their needs. I look forward to our journey together right in the heart Beavercreek!
