About
Life transitions (like moving, changing careers, or becoming a parent) are never easy, however they happen. There are plenty of books, web sites, professional “experts,” and well-meaning know-it-all observers who are ready to tell you exactly what you need to do to be healthy and successful. Sometimes direct advice targeted at a specific solution can be helpful. Often, though, these “quick fixes” miss the mark and leave us feeling like we’ve failed. Our work together will be different as I strive to support you to discover more about yourself, better understand your own needs, and enhance your relationships with others.
I have many years experience working with families (prenatal through Pre-K) in therapy . My approach is based in collaboration with my clients to understand the specifics of each situation as we work together to address needs and celebrate strengths and successes.
I know that seeking therapy services for oneself or one’s child is a complex decision. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, non-judgmental space, and I aim for our work together to be supportive and collaborative — starting wherever you are and standing beside you throughout. Please visit our web site for more specific information.
