“Walking one another home” reflects my approach to the work clients and I do together. I see home as the place where a journey begins and ends - and as a place we can access within ourselves along the way. Home is where our knowing resides, where our power source lives, where our healing center operates, and where our resources listen for their invitation to be shared in service of the whole. I support clients in exploring how they use their energy in relationship with self, others, work, and life, and in reflecting honestly on what is or isn’t serving them. I am a collaborative spirit in support of finding one’s own path through.

I strive to foster a safe, affirming and supportive therapeutic environment, and view therapy as a collaborative process. I am curious and observant, vulnerable and honest and I look forward to walking alongside you through your therapy journey. I encourage you to experiment with new behaviors that could help you embrace your thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them and begin to engage in your life through making choices that move you toward your values.

You know this sudden rush of emotions, when your heart is racing with memories of a time long gone but not forgotten? Maybe your palms are getting damp, and you feel your throat tightening - almost choking - as you remember painful memories of either childhood abuse, a painful breakup, or other shadows of the past, it's like being caught in a storm of past pain with a ton of emotions.
Life is rough and now more than ever people are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain about how they should manage their relationships, careers, and lives. However, you don’t have to walk through this on your own!

One of the most common challenges my clients face is a breakdown in communication. They may find it difficult to express their needs, desires, or fears, which leads to misunderstandings and emotional distance in their relationships.
Some may also experience a lack of emotional intimacy, feeling isolated from their partner or unable to connect on a deeper level.
For others, there are struggles around sexual intimacy-either a lack of physical closeness or sexual dissatisfaction. I also work with clients who have unresolved emotional baggage or past trauma that is impacting their ability to build healthy relationships.

My work is an invitation to activate internal healing and deepen external connection. Relationally, I hope to move folks towards security in Self, safe risking (vulnerability) with partner(s), and mutual healing: a sacred place where bonding replaces self-preservation. With individuals, I welcome all parts as one establishes an awareness of their inner healer, the core "Self" of who you are. As therapy progresses, trust in the therapist moves towards trust in "Self." I see folks as "stuck" and not "sick," and I hold the mantra: "just as there is a healer in me, there is a healer in you." Let's get to know it.

As we progress into the second year of being limited in traveling, gathering and socializing, we are finding ourselves less able to avoid our triggers, struggles, self image and overcome messages of being misunderstood and alone. For some, these last two years have caused more strain than strength within your relationship with children, family and or your partner. No matter the situation that brings a person to counseling the goal is to find a supportive, strength based, experienced, and compassionate clinician who will also challenge them to see that beyond the immediate storm there are blooming flowers.

People try to make sense of their world as they perceive it. This is why people struggle with depression, anxiety, emotional regulation and expression, addiction, etc. Overall, I believe people want to understand what makes them who they are. Through understanding their struggles and being able to choose different ways of thinking, acting, and feeling, people can learn to be the best version of themselves.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with the Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness (cbtmindful.com). I see therapy as a space of honest exploration of who you are, what is most important to you, and what is holding you back from living a more fulfilling life. My role is to listen carefully and compassionately so that, together, we can identify patterns, especially ones that aren’t leading you to the life you want. Then, I use a creative and collaborative approach to help you make changes in how you relate to yourself, how you show up in your relationships, and how you make decisions, big and small.

Do you live in your head but feel overwhelmed by emotions you can’t explain? You may overthink, disconnect from your body, and carry old wounds beneath the surface. Maybe you’ve pushed through with perfectionism and caregiving, but inside, you're exhausted. Even when from outside things look fine, your soul knows something deeper is calling.
I offer a different pathway: Jungian dream work, art therapy, and shadow work that reach beyond words and into the body and unconscious. Art therapy uses breath, movement, and simple creative exercises to gently unlock what’s been trapped inside. You don’t need any artistic talent, I promise.
