I'm Logan (they/them) and I'm an East Asian non-binary person who has lived insight into what it’s like to exist outside the majority in a state like Ohio. I’ve lived in the Midwest my whole life, and I also come from a background of being raised by immigrant communities. I have experience working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, systemic-based trauma, and religious trauma. I believe it's crucial right now to decolonize identity-specific therapy spaces, and to prioritize mental health care for TBIPOC that is provided by TBIPOC.

Hi, my name is McKenzie. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I hold a strong passion for helping individuals navigate anxiety, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and overwhelming emotions with greater clarity and self-understanding. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale; a place where you don't have to perform, minimize your emotions, or have everything figured out before showing up. My approach is warm, direct, and grounded in genuine connection. As a mixed-race therapist, I value cultural awareness and understand how identity, relationships, and experiences shape our worldview.

So often, we wear masks for the benefit of those around us while inside, we suffer. I want to normalize that even though you've been through a lot, there's hope that things can improve. If you want a therapist who takes a non-judgmental stand to support you and guide you through your problems, let me help you. I identify with a culturally sensitive approach because vulnerability is difficult for anyone, and having someone who understands you can help.

My best guess is you’re here checking out potential therapists because you’re feeling a bit stuck; you’re ready for something new, or maybe you’re just sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. There are infinite reasons why individuals might seek out counseling and therapy services. However, there is often a thread of “feeling stuck” or a sense of discomfort as a response to a stressful situation. Perhaps you are going through a difficult time in your life or maybe you’ve noticed a pattern of behavior that you would like to explore further. Whatever the reason, I’m here to help.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social worker in the state of Ohio and owner of Tasalli Counseling. With over 19 years of practice, teaching and research experience, I'm excited to offer culturally responsive therapy to a broad spectrum of clients. While I work with a wide array of issues, I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and have a particular passion for working with the South Asian diaspora. Having straddled the two worlds of US and India, I understand the South Asian cultural nuances. I've also found that especially people of South Asian descent struggle with finding culturally sensitive therapists.

I offer telehealth counseling. Therapy can be a scary thought, but it's a space for you to find yourself again and re-experience life. As a therapist, I am aware of the stigma surrounding mental health, and I know taking the first step to come to therapy can be difficult. I strive to create a warm, inclusive, welcoming environment to allow clients to express themselves openly and honestly without judgment. We walk through the world holding many different experiences that make us unique: race, gender, sexual orientation, and more. I work with my clients to find in themselves permission to feel their feelings and walk forward.

I became a therapist because I know how isolating it can feel to navigate the world without spaces that truly honor all of who you are. As a queer, black woman, I’ve carried the weight of moving through systems that weren’t built with me in mind. Those experiences taught me the importance of having a place where you can show up fully—without judgment, without code-switching, and without apology. My work is grounded in creating affirming, nonjudgmental spaces for people navigating the intersections of gender, sexuality, race, and mental health. I hope each session leaves you feeling more grounded, empowered & connected to yourself.
