If you’re trying to grow your family, you may feel exhausted, unsure, and living in that constant gray space—sometimes losing hope, sometimes filled with it.
My approach is relational and embodied. I help you build a deeper sense of who you are, uncover how developmental or relational trauma may be affecting your nervous system. I also provide education about attachment, intimacy, and healthy relationship patterns, along with practical tools.

"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom," Viktor Frankl. Everything that life throws at us can be overwhelming. Having a person to talk to in a safe, non judgmental space is important for maintaining overall wellness. Making the decision to seek help is a huge step and very empowering, congratulations!

I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity struggles, and complex family dynamics.
Welcome! I'm passionate about working with cycle breakers, including mothers, eldest daughters, & BIPOC women, who are carrying the weight of generational patterns and are ready for deeper, embodied change. Many of my clients come to therapy already highly self-aware, but feeling stuck in the gap between understanding their patterns and actually shifting them. My work is focused on helping clients move beyond insight alone and into meaningful, lasting transformation. My therapeutic style is direct yet laid-back, authentic, and collaborative acting as a guide to help clients tap into their own innate capacity for healing.

There is a curious habit that I've noticed, especially when working with teens, that clients will mostly only work on the "issue of the week." This can have numerous benefits and can also delay the client's progress on any underlying concerns or patterns. Ideally, once a client has agreed to their treatment goals, they continue to take attainable steps towards that goal in therapy and in their daily life. When a client feels comfortable with their therapist to share their thoughts, emotions, and vulnerabilities, then deeper work can happen.

We can easily become overwhelmed in todays environment with all of the pressures to be successful (i.e. family and employment) and become in need of a safe, calm space to breathe.
I help individuals build confidence and trust in their ability to manage life’s challenges by providing cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused interventions. My approach empowers people to address their problems more effectively while reducing reliance on unhealthy coping mechanisms.

I also specialize in working with high-functioning adults who grew up in emotionally immature or chaotic families.
I work with adults who are carrying the weight of past trauma. This may be a single overwhelming event such as medical trauma, birth trauma, or sexual trauma, or a series of experiences that left you feeling unsafe, unseen, or out of control. You may have symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, or panic that show up in your body even when life seems calm on the outside. I use EMDR and NARM to help you process what happened so you can feel more grounded, steady, and in control of your life and relationships. I also offer 3 lengths of sessions (50, 80, and 140 minutes) so you can work at a pace that you prefer.

I specialize in women's sexual health, relationship issues, anxiety, job related stress, life transitions, and the impacts of trauma, injury, and illness. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership and my goal is to create a supportive environment of trust and acceptance. I practice an insight-oriented and psychodynamic approach, meaning that the past informs the present and can create unconscious patterns of thought and behavior. Once we have awareness of how our experiences impact our lives, healing can begin.
