Emily’s eclectic approach to counseling is to use Evidence-Based techniques including: Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Integrated Body-Mind-Spirit Approach, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy,
Behavioral Therapy, and Strength-Based Approach.
Emily has experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families in community, hospital, and private practice settings. In these settings, Emily has guided clients in managing and alleviating symptoms of behavioral and mental health concerns including: trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, interpersonal conflict, self-injurious behavior, grief/loss, life transitions, family conflict, spirituality, and disease management of chronic illnesses.
