We enjoy working with clients who are open to understanding how adverse life experiences negatively impact thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and are ready to do the work of exploring these connections in therapy. We strive to build relationships with our clients based on the foundations of curiosity and empathy in a collaborative setting that is goal-oriented and relaxed, where their true self can be seen and feel accepted. Our overarching hope for clients is that through therapy they would believe they have inherent worth and value as human beings, apart from what they do, have, or what other people think and say about them.

I am a psychotherapist with two decades of experience helping my clients transform their lives and relationships. The therapy I provide is experiential, evidence based, directive and collaborative. I approach my clients with warmth, compassion and curiosity. I am skilled at helping my clients heal from the past, recognize internal narratives that aren't serving them anymore, create new stories, find meaning, and learn to establish real connection with themselves and others.

Relationships in Crisis: We Have Several Private Couples/Marriage Workshops & Individual Sessions, in order to Rapidly Accelerate Your Healing & Your Communication Process (Traditional 45 min. session Simply Does Not Work). During these 2 to 4 weeks, we will see both of you Together & Individually, as well as Help each of you Learn the Art of Empathy, Sensitivity & Compassion. These Workshops are Informative & Powerful, in order to Accelerate the Healing Process & Stop any further Damage from Occurring. In Addition, Our Success RATE is 85% of Our Couples that have Successfully Completed Our Couples Workshops or Alcohol Treatment.

There are times we feel stuck and know things in our lives need to change. Underneath the smile, we sometimes feel alone in our pain and long for a place to be known without judgment and rejection. I believe in creating a safe environment where you can bring the truth of who you are into a journey of growth, healing, and transformation that you might live out your greatest potential.

All of us get into life situations which are difficult and sometimes feel impossible. Sharing the burden can be helpful and useful. Navigating childhood and adolescence can be hard enough for an individual, but it's also tough on parents. There are no manuals that come with being a parent. When one person in the family is struggling, the entire family system struggles. I work with children, teens, and their caregivers on finding the tools to navigate through difficult issues. I am a clinician who is experienced to help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, school issues, behavioral challenges, suicidal ideation/self-harm, social challenges, and other mood-related concerns. I believe if the child is thriving, then the family system thrives.

I offer support and counseling through a holistic, preventative model. I will work to understand and address your biological, social, mental and spiritual needs with the goal of helping you function better as a whole person. Uncovering your unique strengths, abilities, different worldviews and cultural experiences will be important to our work. Collaborating through curiosity and compassion enhances understanding for fostering and using your natural strengths and abilities. It is my privilege to assist you on your journey towards flourishing in your relationships, and emotional, spiritual, and mental health skills.

I specialize in supporting people in healing from trauma and finding health and well-being in their lives and relationships. I realize that my clients come to my office to talk about some of their deepest pains and experiences. Sometimes they carry shame, fear, and anxiety or depression due to these events. I'll welcome you with an open, warm, and deeply present therapeutic experience. Therapy is designed to provide an emotionally safe and supportive space where we do very sensitive work.

Taking a dynamic approach to therapy, I work most effectively with clients who want to increase their understanding of why they do what they do, and how past relationships (both with themselves and others) affect current behavior, concerns, and "stuck points". It is with this new understanding that they can change patterns that are no longer working for them.

I have a Master's in Social Work from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Since receiving my degree, I have served my community by providing therapeutic services in both medical and mental health settings. I have worked with clients in hospice care, residential addiction treatment, and therapeutic foster care. I work with a wide range of clients, and my background allows me to have unique insights for my clients. I work with individuals and families navigating anxiety, chronic illness, depression, grief, and many other circumstances.

I strive to foster a safe, affirming and supportive therapeutic environment, and view therapy as a collaborative process in which the client is the expert. I am curious and observant, vulnerable and honest and I look forward to walking alongside you through your therapy journey. I encourage you to experiment with new behaviors that could help you embrace your thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them and begin to engage in your life through making choices that move you toward your values.

We learn how to see, value and trust ourselves and others based on how our caregivers saw, valued and were honest with us. When that relationship has been broken in any way, we develop an attachment wound. This break could have come in many forms, neglect, abuse, emotional and physical absence or inconsistent nurturing. As adults we act out our wounds in our daily lives. This leads to an inability to form healthy, connected and valuable relationships with ourselves and others. The impact of this is depression, anxiety, personality issues, trauma responses and a myriad of other issues.

That’s where I come in. I will provide a safe and accepting environment for you to unpack your layers and understand your experience. I will help you find your inner resources to navigate difficult situations. I provide guidance for learning to identify emotions and feel feelings in a safe and nurturing way. My hope is that you come to know yourself better while you develop agency and confidence in your ability to cope with life stressors.

I have experience serving adult clients at each level of care, including community mental health, psychiatric facilities, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), as well as private practice. My therapeutic experience includes, but is not limited to working with trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relationship issues, life transitions, and college mental health. Additionally, I have worked with various cultures and socioeconomic statuses.
