I currently have immediate openings for ADULT ADHD and ASD testing. This process involves an online diagnostic visit, an in-person day of testing at our North Campus location, and an online feedback session. We accept most major insurances, though be prepared that the process is often between $600 to $1500 AFTER the discount from your insurance. If you are interested, please fill out the form on our website to get started. At this time, I am not accepting new clients for regular therapy. We are currently developing the systems to be able to test younger clients, but currently do not have the tests or infrastructure.

I work with individuals, couples, children and adolescents on a range of issues from depression and anxiety, to ADHD and other learning disorders, and those suffering from trauma and dissociative disorders.
If you’re looking at this page and considering therapy, that means you are already engaging in a journey towards healing. Recognizing that you are struggling can be really terrifying. Telling your story to a new therapist can also be a difficult task. Your thoughts, feelings, and journey deserve to be both honored and respected. My mission as a clinician is to collaboratively walk with you through whatever hardships you are experiencing in order to accomplish the goals that are important to you. I adapt my approach to best fit your needs, because in my office I work for you and want to focus on what is most important to you.

I believe ADHD impacts people in their own unique way, and I see a therapist as both a teacher and a student.
If you have adult ADHD , you likely know about struggles with distraction, managing your time, overwhelming emotions, and difficulty getting things done. You may even be trying to compensate with perfectionism, overworking, or avoiding stressful things completely. You’re tired of feeling like life is messy, and even more tired of the impact that feeling scattered has on your self-esteem. You long to feel more understood, to build confidence, and to follow through on your commitments. To get a solid grasp on life.

My ideal client is someone open to the process of therapy. Someone who is willing to show up for themselves, and “put in the work”. My client may be someone dealing with anxiety, depression, or challenges of ADHD , such as Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria. My client may be feeling in a rut or “stuck” in personal aspects of their life. My client may be challenged by different phases and stages of life, by not feeling capable or feeling easily overwhelmed. They want to engage in therapy and work on achieving their personal goals in a space where they are seen, heard, validated and encouraged.

After 12 years as a therapist, I have established my specialty in ADHD coaching and therapy.
Tired? Overwhelmed? Falling Apart? Worried God can't use you? Research has shown that ADHD is just as common in adult women as it is in young boys, but most women are misdiagnosed with depression, anxiety, or PMS. Less known characteristics of ADHD are, easily stressed, feeling you will never measure up, struggling to follow through, sleep trouble, relational conflict, emotional dysregulation, trouble remembering the moments in life that really matter, and many others. Maybe you don't have depression/anxiety/PMS. Maybe your brain works in a unique way that will thrive with a few changes to your thinking and your routine.

I have experience working with a variety of challenges such as ADHD , anxiety, depression, couple/family relational issues, life cycle challenges, and gender dysphoria.
I believe that we all have the capacity to grow towards becoming better versions of ourselves. I work collaboratively and systemically with individuals, couples, and families to help them achieve their desired goals for treatment. I also place great emphasis on developing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. For adolescents struggling academically or in their interpersonal lives, I work to help them identify how they can get back to being their best selves. For families and couples feeling "stuck" in old patterns of behavior, our work can help you find new ways of relating towards more fulfillment in the relationship.

I specialize in ADHD testing and treatment of Adult ADHD . If you’re like many adults with ADHD , you might identify as an overthinker with a quick mind and strong feelings. And it seems like no matter how hard you try, you feel like people think you’re “scattered,” “too sensitive,” or even a little…“lost.” It feels like everyone else has it all figured out, and you’re left behind––beating yourself up for every little thing you do. You just want to live life without “analysis paralysis,” get organized, recover faster from emotional tailspins, and tackle your inner critic...for good.

As a neurodivergent self-advocate (ASD/ ADHD ), you can expect a compassionate and creative environment to dig into deeper issues, so that you can cope better with life’s stresses, and work through challenges.
Do you often feel like you're not sure where you fit into the world, whether it's due to neurodivergence, gender, or sexuality? Do you struggle with understanding a world that is full of systems that don't honor the unique person you are, and the challenges you have? Therapy is typically a place for working through issues of anxiety, depression, and trauma, but these things can stem from systems that don't work for us, or social constructs that hold us back, like constructs around gender identity, sexuality, or disability.

Life can bring about many obstacles - whether stressors or a medical condition - and a therapist can facilitate change or healing. I specialize in providing psychotherapy to individuals experiencing adjustment issues to a medical condition or stressor, anxiety, depression, trauma, or a spiritual crisis. If you have cognitive difficulties, I provide cognitive rehabilitation and executive skills coaching to strengthen your mental abilities to engage in home and work. At times, neurological injury brings behavioral changes. We can jointly develop a behavioral plan to manage behaviors to improve relationships and ensure safety.

ADHD Therapists

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?

Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
