About
As a licensed social worker, I have experience worked with clients of all ages, including survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and individuals who have lost loved ones. I enjoy working with adults on building parenting skills, and supporting the development of ways to increase positive relationships in the home. I have supported clients on management of anxiety, depression, peer relationships, life transitions, and encourage conversations around race, oppression, sexual orientation, and alliance. To do this I utilize Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
My passion lies supporting those with complex trauma history and those who are processing grief. I see grief as a universal experience we will all go through. Whether it’s processing the loss of someone you love or a significant life event, I believe in the importance of finding meaning from our grief or trauma.
I am an empathic clinician, who believes that the client is the expert of their lives and their story! I hope to journey with each client to a deeper space of healing and building hope, empowerment and courage. I aim to support them in recognizing their gifts, talents, and ability to manage the challenges life presents.
