As a queer and neurodivergent affirming therapist, the clients I collaborate with often hold intersecting identities that have historically been excluded from therapy spaces. Many have worn the mask of everything is fine while over-functioning, over-giving, and quietly running on empty.
My hope when I meet new clients is that therapy feels like a place where all of you belongs — no performing, shrinking, or dimming yourself required.
Emotional overwhelm doesn't have to be the norm. I walk beside clients who want to heal old wounds, return home from self abandonment and like who they see when they get there.
