Ideal clients are those that are the ages of 13 - 77; I want these ranges because I feel I can best help them with their issues and needs which for me so far it has been about changing some aspect of themselves that they are having issues with dealing. From the limited exposure the goals are dependent on the client and what they want at the time, I have also learned that being flexible and fluid is the best way to help clients.

My goal is to provide accessible, pleasure-centered sex and relationship care to the LGBTQIA+ community, with specific focus on queer, trans, and non-monogamous people and relationship structures.
I work with evolving people living at the intersections of multiple identities. To discover our own power within our identities, we have an opportunity to learn more about who we are and how we relate. Whether it’s exploring your grief within a loss or learning new skills in improving your intimate relationships, I strive to provide equitable care, which includes considering how structural racism and racial identity impacts the wellness of individuals. I would love to learn more about your story.

Shame often attaches itself to aspects of our identity—our sexuality, body image, self-worth—convincing us that we are undeserving of the connection that is vital to our well-being.
Our relationships define our humanity, bringing richness and joy into our lives while sometimes causing pain. They act as mirrors, reflecting our inner selves and fulfilling our innate need for connection. When we are connected to others, we feel more in tune with ourselves and our world. However, mental health challenges can both contribute to and result from relationship discord, creating a distressing cycle. Feelings of isolation lead to further disconnection, distancing us from our values and deepening our sense of loneliness and loss. Through therapy, we can carve a different path: one of vulnerability, intimacy, and joy.

I have a strong focus working with those who have experienced sexual trauma, pain with sex, and sexual dysfunctions.
My ideal client is often someone who looks highly capable on the outside but feels overwhelmed, disconnected, or quietly struggling on the inside. They may be navigating relationship challenges, sexual concerns, anxiety, burnout, identity shifts, or the lingering impact of past experiences that never fully resolved. Many are used to functioning, performing, or caretaking and are now noticing that those strategies no longer work. They need a space that feels safe, attuned, and nonjudgmental and a therapist who understands trauma, intimacy, and the ways high expectations and responsibility can shape a person's inner world.

I take a lot of pride in the work I get to do with clients. I genuinely consider it an honor for folks to let me into their lives and trust that I can support them through the tough times. The world is chaotic and our more immediate worlds can get jostled around by it all. I don't claim to be able to help everyone I work with, because I don't know if that always feels realistic to the struggles at hand. However, I can promise to offer acceptance, support, empathy, and care so that you don't feel as alone or untethered. I understand that many people want to make changes, and we can work towards that with kindness and compassion.

You love Jesus, and go to bed wondering why you do not feel good enough. You look like you have it together. Inside, you second-guess, struggle with your faith, and avoid conflict. You spent years learning how to survive. You became the strong one, the people pleaser, the woman who learned how to shape herself around what everyone else needed. You struggle to say no. You say “it’s fine” when it is not. Dating feels impossible. Marriage feels lonely. You are tired of carrying childhood wounds, church hurt, and fear of being abandoned. You keep asking yourself, “What is wrong with me?”

Sex Therapy
Who is sex therapy for?
Sex problems are common in relationships. Many people want a better sex life and want to feel loved and desired by their partner. It is difficult for couples to resolve sexual problems on their own because people often feel ashamed to talk about their sexual desires fearing they are not normal, when in fact a very broad range of preferences and behaviors are normal. A sex therapist can help clarify this and other matters.

Why do people need sex therapy?
Many people do not know how to talk about their erotic needs or their emotional needs, both of which are addressed in sex therapy. Couples often live with sexual difficulties for years before seeking help, and in that time, partners may experience so much disappointment and alienation that they may fear their problems mean they are incompatible. Once people experience disappointment, it is difficult to find resolution without help.

What happens in sex therapy?
People have many misconceptions about what takes place in sex therapy. First, it is a form of talk therapy in which partners discuss their sexual concerns; it does not involve touching or physical exploration of any kind. Sex therapy typically helps couples get comfortable talking to each other about sex so that, in the privacy of their home life, they can openly discuss their sexual desires and make decisions about what they want to do. Couples are typically assigned activities to do at home that build intimacy skills.

What kinds of problems do sex therapists treat?
Very often, partners differ in their degree of sexual desire and struggle over how often to have sex. Or they may have fights about porn use or have difficulty connecting sexually after one partner is unfaithful. Men may have problems with premature ejaculation. Women may find themselves struggling to become aroused or to achieve an orgasm. Sometimes partners feel like they have lost the sense of attraction to their partner. These are all common issues dealt with in sex therapy.
