I have the ability to work with individuals, couples, families, youth, experiences of Intimate Partner Violence/Domestic Violence, Hoarding and Suicide Prevention.
If these past few years have taught us anything, it’s that life can happen in an instant and really shake some shit up! It feels like a constant reality now—watching your dreams, expectations, and plans change or even be eliminated without your permission. No matter what triggered the shift for you, my goal is to help you engage these experiences head-on. I take my role as your guide very seriously; I use enlightenment, personal growth, and information to support your ability to live in and view your reality even as it's being edited in real-time.

Greetings! Do you often feel uncertain about your identity, value, or ability to be successful? Do you often feel like you are trying to fit yourself into boxes society has created for you, but it's not quite right? Do you feel the internal calling to show up with more authenticity or like there is something meaningful waiting for you right outside of your grasp? Let me walk with you on your path to a deeper understanding of the most important person in your life (YOU!) and let's build that connection together, brick by brick. Issues I can help with: anxiety, perfectionism, low self-esteem, gender/sexuality, and complex trauma.

I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) based in Columbus, Ohio. I take a relaxed, collaborative, and conversational approach to therapy focused on helping clients feel genuinely understood, accepted, and comfortable being themselves. I feel that meaningful therapy starts with connection, warmth, and trust. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, stress, and life transitions (college, divorce, career changes). I especially enjoy working with “over-thinkers” — people who are highly self-aware, constantly analyzing, and often stuck in cycles of worry, perfectionism, or self-doubt.

I’m here to help people find themselves not a new version, but often the version they miss or have been disconnected from. My work centers on authenticity, self-awareness, and helping you take the mask off so you can show up as who you are meant to be in your everyday life. I believe healing is not about becoming someone else, but about reconnecting with who you already are beneath expectations, pressure, and survival patterns. In our work together, I create a space where you can be honest, explore your emotions, and better understand how your experiences have shaped the way you move through the world.

FAQ - Teenage and Adolescent Therapists
What does therapy for teenagers look like?
When a therapist works with a teenager, the pair will talk about what the teen is struggling with and explore solutions, which may involve interpersonal skills, coping strategies, medication, or lifestyle changes related to sleep, diet, and exercise. Different therapists employ different modalities, but most involve a combination of conversation and skill building.

How long does therapy for teenagers generally take to work?
There’s variability in teenagers’ experiences and challenges; some may begin to improve from therapy within a few weeks while others may take several months or longer. Teens can discuss their progress with their therapist periodically to assess how they’re improving and any changes to the treatment plan that could potentially accelerate that progress.

How do you encourage a teenager to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love while framing therapy as an opportunity to explore a tool that could help improve their life; just like they practice baseball or dance, now they can practice their emotional skills. Give your teen control over the process where you can—maybe by weighing in on choice of therapist and signaling that therapy involves confidentiality, so a parent need not know all that is discussed in sessions.

How do you prepare teens for therapy?
You can prepare your teenager for therapy by describing what the process will look like and setting expectations for timeline, if requested. You can explain that the first session may begin with an assessment phase, that they can describe their experiences but that the therapist will ask questions too, and that it may take time to feel comfortable opening up. Ask how they’re feeling about the process and answer any questions calmly and supportively.
