We take private pay, Aetna, Anthem Commercial, CareSource, Medical Mutual, UHC, UMR and BIND.
My favorite quote is from The Little Prince, "the eyes are blind. One must look with the heart." Often in the midst of our pain and struggle we react to circumstances with little or no thought. We allow ourselves to be directed by the world instead of identifying what we need and know in our heart. To identify what we need, know what our heart wants, and have a plan to follow is what therapy is all about. We must work through the pain to identify these things; accept that we deserve them, and develop a plan to achieve them.

Currently in Network with Anthem, Medical Mutual, UnitedHealthCare, Aetna, and Cigna.
"There are far better things ahead than those we leave behind." C.S Lewis. If you are ready for your life to be different and you would like some help getting it there I would welcome the opportunity to go through that process with you. In the 20 years I have been in my profession I have worked in a variety of settings with adults, adolescents and children and have enjoyed every part of it equally. Each therapeutic relationship is different. I appreciate and value each dynamic with recognition of the unique opportunities they bring.

Do you experience unwelcomed thoughts that you try to ignore without much success? Do you feel imprisoned by intrusive images in your mind? Do you worry excessively about something bad happening to someone you love if you do not perform some kind of ritual? Do you avoid things like kitchen knives, public restrooms, children? Unwelcomed thoughts can manifest themselves in many forms beyond just excessive handwashing or checking stove knobs. Fortunately, there are evidence-based treatments available to effectively treat Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or OCD, a condition that affects as many as 7,000,000 people in the U.S. alone.

Accepting new clients. Also providing supervision for LPC /LPCC licensed individuals. I am a person in recovery from addiction, an eating disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and horrible bouts of depression and anxiety. It took me a long time to find the path that led to recovery, but I finally did, and WOW......life can seem so complicated, but really, I see it as a combination of all the little simplistic things coming together. Sometimes it is in harmony and very rhythmic, other times, a collection of noise. I specialize in working with addiction and clients are usually able to get comfortable with me very quickly. That is a gift.
