Megan is experienced in working with adults experiencing severe mental health concerns, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma. She has extensive knowledge on trauma, trauma responses and the neurobiology of trauma, and has facilitated both individual and group counseling for individuals with these concerns. As a queer practitioner, Megan has experience leading both individual and group counseling for LGBTQIA+ populations who may be experiencing concerns related to identity. Megan is aligned and open to working with non-monogamous and alternative relationship styles and orientations.

My hope for therapy is to be a place for you to be your authentic self free of worry about judgment. I believe that clients know the most about themselves and their situations, and should be the leaders of their treatment. Our work together will be collaborative so we can discover ways to help you thrive. Each person has their own set of needs for therapy. I provide individualized care for each of my clients, implementing what they value and how they learn into their healing. I am a trauma-informed therapist, primarily using cognitive, supportive, and attachment-based therapies to guide my practice.

My clients tend to be thoughtful, expressive people often at the cusp of changing the way that they relate to themselves and others. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who obtained my Master's of Arts in Counseling from John Carroll University in 2002. I have practiced in agency,forensic and private practice settings in Cleveland over the course of the past ten years. I offer therapy sessions for adolescents, adults, couples and families using Cognitive Behavioral Techniques to help clients make desired and meaningful changes in their lives by helping them identify and reach their therapeutic goals.
