The clinicians at OCD Spectrum specialize in exposure and response prevention or, ERP. It is the most effective type of talk therapy for the treatment of OCD and phobias. Simply put, ERP mainly involves facing your fears without retreating. We treat children and adults and offer video-therapy for those in remote areas of PA. We also provide supervision for doctoral-level psychology students and post-docs on the proper treatment of OCD and regularly present at the IOCDF annual conferences. We also offer psychiatry/medication services with our psychiatrist, Joshua Riley-Graham, MD.
Although OCD Spectrum specializes in the treatment of OCD and other anxiety disorders, we also treat issues including the following: depression, assertiveness, self-esteem, motivation, anger management, and self-confidence. ERP is a particular type of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). Many therapists use elements of CBT in their therapy sessions however, few therapists receive training in ERP like we have as a graduates of the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute put on by the International OCD Foundation.
