I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Areas of expertise include Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Specific Phobias, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Depression, and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
My CBT treatment emphasizes behavioral interventions, such as exposure and response prevention (ERP), as well as mindfulness based interventions, and biofeedback. I also frequently collaborate with families, schools, and other health providers to ensure that all needs are being addressed and appropriate interventions are implemented for each patient.
Past work experience includes the college counseling centers at Georgetown University and the University of California-Riverside in which I treated young adults with a variety of mental health needs as well as a community mental health clinic within The George Washington University and The Washington Home in DC.
