It has been an honor to serve the Lord and to fulfill His calling on my life as a biblical counselor over the past several years. I am equipped to work with individuals and couples. My areas of specialty include anxiety, OCD, depression, communication, conflict resolution, relationship issues, grief, codependency, parenting, marital and premarital counseling. I am a certified PrepareEnrich facilitator, which is a program approved by Twogether In Texas and waives the marriage license fee for engaged couples.

In one's walk towards wholeness and change, there are various barriers and hindrances one must overcome: The prism in which we view life, the messages we received about ourselves from our family of origin, what has happened to us and what we tell ourselves about it, our fear of feelings, and our learned coping mechanisms are just a few. As a Christian counselor, it is my desire to provide a safe and accepting environment in which we can walk and work together to expose, understand, and overcome these barriers.

My existential counseling approach is rooted in the belief that every person is unique and deserves a tailored therapeutic experience. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. I love working with adults, teenagers, children, and families. I have experience helping patients with depression, anxiety, bipolar, autism and other developmental disabilities, OCD, ADHD, family concerns, parenting stress, career and academic concerns, as well as traumatic experiences. In addition, I have extensive experience in grief therapy during times of loss, such as in a time of death, divorce, and other significant life changes. I also enjoy working on goals of self-improvement, self-awareness, and compassion with my patients.

Sara is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate and has earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health. Before joining the team, Sara was a registered behavioral technician within the ABA community working with children, adults, and families. She has an established history of philanthropy, community service, and clinical mental healthcare as she has worked and volunteered with various organizations throughout her years of experience. Sara’s knowledge and compassion provides a safe and effective means to achieve individual aspirations. Sara is accepting new clients, with day, evening, and weekend appointments available.

I am a trauma informed, EMDR trained, & a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional therapist. I enjoy incorporating games and art therapy in sessions. I am passionate to help people move through emotional/spiritual obstacles so they can live rich lives interpersonally and contribute to their community. Before Sarah’s career as a counselor in private practice and crisis centers, she spent 20 years as a paramedic, EMT (local/ internationally), volunteering, and a medical university faculty. She treats clients experiencing stressful events, major life changes, chronic illnesses, traumas and stressors, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, addiction (alcohol/substances), mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenic disorders, suicide ideation, anxiety, depression, minority issues, disabilities, and Alzheimer’s/ geriatrics. Sarah enjoys working with older teens to elder adults, military/ veterans, and first responders.
