Many of the people I work with struggle making and following through with positive change in their lives, experiencing unsuccessful attempts, a lack of confidence, and feelings of being "stuck". As a holistic health practitioner, I help people examine their Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual selves and take action in areas that are out of balance. I have a clinical background in treating mental health disorders and specialties in addictive behavior, integrative nutrition and treating mind-body disorders.
I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with addictions, both chemical & behavioral. My specialty in this domain includes food addiction & compulsive eating. I also treat other clinical disorders from an integrative perspective with a focus on the mind-body connection. Outside of clinical issues, I also treat individuals coping with sexual & gender concerns (LGBTQIA+).
I operate from an integrative, eclectic, & holistic framework, focusing on the whole person & not just the problem or symptom. I help people to better understand themselves and their world, and to create & maintain balance. I see myself as a combination of coach, counselor, cheerleader, educator, & guide for individuals who wish to make positive life changes.
