I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience. I provide counseling to individuals, teens, couples and families. My training was specifically "systems" based so working within the dynamics of a couple or family is a process that I am very comfortable with. Typically I will incorporate Cognitive Behavioral techniques as well as Mindfulness-based techniques into therapy. I enjoy humor and, when appropriate, will use humor often in the counseling I provide. Most importantly, I strive to provide a safe, collaborative, objective and non-judgmental setting where all clients can process difficulties.
I work with clients who are experiencing relational troubles, school difficulties, self-esteem, poor communication, every day stressors and emotional difficulties (anxiety, stress, depression, hopelessness etc). During these times it can be really helpful to have an objective and understanding person with whom you can process these feelings and events.
I am not a network provider for insurance plans but I will provide an invoice to self-submit to insurance companies.
