The primary focus of this practice will be in filling the mental health needs for children, teens, and adults. In person or virtual sessions are available. Couples counseling is not being offered at this time. (My office is in historic home in Honesdale and I am located on the second floor. Unfortunately I do not have an elevator. Please keep this in mind if you have any mobility issues, but I want to be transparent about this limitation. I apologize for any inconvenience.)

Society confronts us all with challenges that are complicated by daily stressors and expectations from family, work and the community. Social media has become an avenue to connect with people, but also opened the doors to connections that complicate the way we see ourselves and how we acquiesce. Although we experience undesirable emotions at times, emotions provide an opportunity to promote change and build resilience. My goal is to assist individuals/families with identifying problems that hinder success and create solutions that promote a positive self perception. It is possible to feel better even though things seem hopeless.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked & trained in the mental health field for more than 10 years. During the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working with clients who were diverse in the areas of age, gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability status, socioeconomic status, & spiritual/religious affiliation. I have worked in various settings & in different roles such as an Outpatient Therapist, a Mental Health Professional in a Partial Hospitalization Program, a Sexual Assault Counselor in a Domestic Violence Shelter & an Assistant Director of Clinical Services in a psychiatric hospital.
