We specialize in addressing substance abuse and practice Imago Relationship Therapy for couples. Our aim is to assist the individual and their loved ones into a recovery program that works. We are dedicated to this process and understand how confusing it is. Imago Relationship Therapy came to us as an outgrowth of our recognition that people in recovery need help with relationships and families need support. Our interest in Imago expanded our philosophical approach to therapy and and provided us a skill set useful for any couple seeking to improve their relationship. Our treatment is holistic; every aspect of your life is important. How life is affected by addiction, and what it looks like without it, is daunting beyond the prospect of just stopping. But beyond addiction there are new possibilities, and treatment is meant to explore how life can be different.
Aporia is a partnership with 30 years of combined experience in addiction counseling. We offer individual therapy, couples and family counseling, and co-facilitate small group therapy. Our groups consist of eight to ten people and meet once a week for approximately 1.5 hours.
