Working from a psychodynamic model to see the whole clinical picture, I believe insight is crucial but it doesn’t guarantee behavior change. I have over 30 years experience as a child and adult psychotherapist and psychiatrist. I practice primarily psychotherapy, addressing a full range of issues from emotional strains, trauma, loss and anxiety to developmental issues including autistic spectrum presentations, and psychosis. I am former Chair of the Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Training Program at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia.
