I believe that seeking help for life's struggles doesn't have to feel like work; in fact, I prefer to take "a spoon full of sugar" approach with people of all ages. I enjoy working with people who are interested in learning about themselves or who find themselves adjusting to transitions. I have over a decade of experience as a psychotherapist, medical social worker, program developer, educator and coordinator in the fields of oncology and youth/families. I have a passion for working with creative modalities using a strength-based lens grounded in Resilience Theory.
Expressive arts, play, and sand therapies are a fun aspect to the creative counseling support I offer. I strive to provide my clients with a safe, insightful and nurturing relationship that creates opportunity for healing, self-discovery, and growth.
