I am a licensed psychologist and enjoy working with college students, parents, and adults. My clients often tell me they appreciate my hopeful and direct approach. I trained at UMASS Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital. I've worked in outpatient clinics, college counseling, pediatric weight clinics at several major hospitals, and at a cancer support center. I treat those struggling with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, stress & relationship issues, weight management, coping with medical conditions, and parents looking to better understand their children.
I am a cognitive behavioral therapist and I provide specific feedback and track our progress throughout our work together. I also help people understand and change the connections between their minds and bodies. As a wife and mother myself I often relate to clients striving to find the balance in their daily lives.
While my expertise is in identifying how our brains, bodies, and behaviors influence one another, your the expert on you. I look forward to combining our expertise and working with you to achieve your goals. I am in the process of changing my hours and will have openings this summer from 9 am- 1 pm.
