I am a licensed Clinical Health Psychologist with extensive training and experience in treating anxiety-related disorders, especially OCD & Perfectionism (OCPD), relationship issues, and eating disorders, specifically obesity and binge eating. Additionally, I have sustained success in treating individuals with sleep issues and medical issues. I am predominately CBT focused, but will incorporate my training in analysis and mindfullness into the treatment plan to offer a more well-rounded and balanced approach to your psychological concerns

I have been working in a private counseling setting since 2012. My counseling techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, humanistic counseling and interpersonal counseling approaches. These techniques are always tailored to the clients' individual needs. I have extensive experience working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, teenage stress and self-esteem issues, and individuals who have endured traumatic experiences, due to domestic violence or military service. I am trained in Neuro and Biofeedback to help student and professional athletes to improve their sports performance.

Lisa received her Master’s in Counseling at Montclair University. She’s worked in various positions in the field utilizing her counseling skills and innate problem solving abilities as a Guidance Counselor, a Crisis Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, and an In home counselor for the last 15 years where she has molded and guided at risk youth in crisis. Lisa holds certifications in: Eye Movement and Densitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy (Ct.H), National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC), Mind/Body Personal Trainer, Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, and CANS certified SNA (NA/BPS).

My background includes more than 15 years of professional experience in mental health counseling and crisis intervention.

Accepting new clients! Dr. Jeff’s wide range of clinical experience entails adolescents, adults, and elderly clients. While pursuing his doctorate in clinical psychology, he completed an externship at the Rutgers College Counseling Center where he worked with college students and spent two years at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in New York City where he received psychoanalytic training and supervision in individual psychodynamic psychotherapy. Jeff is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a permit to practice psychology in NJ.

People usually come to me wanting and needing change relatively quickly for their issues related to drugs and alcohol, eating, or as concerned family members. People often feel some shame, or a lot of it, around their problems. I have had success in orienting people to these problems and motivating them to find their way to hope, happiness, and a "recovered" life. Raising a person's true self-confidence is usually a part of the treatment. No two people are exactly alike so I adapt to the counseling needs of my clients. These are treatable issues, so seek help! I work with children and adults in developing healthy coping and social skills to promote positive change, well-being, and symptom reduction, and to deal with the various problems they may encounter in their life journey. Whether symptoms are due to stress, anxiety, crisis, life transitions, or other behavioral challenges, I provide a safe and supportive place to assist people in navigating through their life experiences and learn new approaches and perspectives for a positive outcome. I have a fully equipped play therapy center in my peaceful and calming therapy office.

Although quite wonderful, sometimes being human is HARD. I'm licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with over 20 years full-time, clinical experience. I utilize evidence-based modalities to assist clients in finding new ways to better manage emotions, bring balance back, and help when things get rough. My client's ages range from early adulthood through the elderly, 20-80+. i work with individuals, couples and families in a safe, collaborative environment of self-discovery and growth.

I hold Certificates from The Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia, where I am a supervisor; am a past president and current faculty member of the NY State Society of Ericksonian Hypnosis and Psychotherapy; and have supervised in the Graduate Programs for Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Social Work at Hunter College/CUNY.
