I specialize in assisting individuals who are experiencing life transitions including divorce, illness, bereavement, and change of careers. I also treat depression, anxiety, addictions (including substance abuse), trauma, and a variety of other psychological concerns. I routinely work with individuals' physicians and a variety of other practitioners to create a comprehensive treatment plan. I am an anger management specialist, certified by the National Association for Anger Management Specialists as well as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC). I am also a certified EMDR therapist.

As a neuropsychologist, I provide neuropsychological assessments, diagnostic services, and treatment to a wide range of clients, from questions about a child's learning difficulties to concerns about a senior's memory that has started to impact their daily living. I also provide a wide range of evaluations for legal related issues from Independent Medical Examinations, fitness for duty to legal issues; such as testamentary capacity. I approach each person with care and consideration for their emotional well-being, cultural background, age, and life experiences that may affect cognitive functioning. My goal is to provide a comprehensive and quality evaluation product whether that be for an individual client or third-party. My endeavor is to give the client the information they need to develop the best treatment plan for neuropsychological health or legal outcome. An appropriate diagnosis is dependent upon a good history, interviewing family members, teachers and review of records as appropriate. I strive to develop a treatment plan tailored to the individual with written reports appropriate for the consumer, be they parents, adult children, physicians, or lawyers.

I treat most diagnoses including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and Autism. I treat clients of all ages and offer individual, couple, family and play therapy and Neurofeedback. I completed my APA approved internship at Kapiolani Counseling Center for women and children and I have previously worked as the child and adolescent psychologist at Kahi Mohala. I was the lead psychologist at my last position, providing consultation for child, adolescent and adult therapists.

The Arizona Behavioral Health Associates provide comprehensive treatment programs for clients seeking guidance through changes and difficulties in their lives. Our providers have extensive experience in counseling children, adolescents and families. Dr. Della Lusk's practice focuses primarily on individual psychotherapy, but she also offers group, couples and family counseling.
