Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) & Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I am specialized in & have years of experience of working with adults diagnosed with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, & anger-related disorders. My therapeutic approaches include: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), & self-compassion focused interventions. I have also been trained in Emotion Focused Couple’s Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), suicide assessment & providing sleep therapy skills through the UC Berkley sleep team.
In the past, I worked with college students experiencing mental health concerns at College of the Sequoias (COS) in Visalia, CA. Later, I spent several years working at Kings View in Hanford, CA, where I provided mental health services to a variety of adult individuals with low socioeconomic status & who experienced moderate to severe mental health symptoms.
In a nutshell, I am very passionate about providing a safe, empathic & validating space for clients to explore their inner worlds while also teaching therapeutic skills to help manage a variety of difficulties! I am also very passionate about helping couples resolve conflict or improve connection & helping underserved populations like the Latino community.
