Hi, I'm Brenda! I am a sex therapist and support adults with trauma, shame, pain, difficulty with orgasm, concerns with erection and ejaculation, and kink support. I also work with partnered folx to improve relationship dynamics and can address sexual concerns like desire discrepancy and communication challenges. I am especially passionate about collaborating with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks.
I specialize in trauma and sexuality concerns and use somatic and mindfulness approaches along with other evidenced-based approaches like EMDR and Gottman and Emotion Focused Therapy for folx in relationships.
At the heart of my work, I help folx build self-compassion and unconditional acceptance for themselves to promote healing. I value re-establishing safety and connection with the body, with one’s emotions, and in relationships through somatic approaches, mindfulness, and communicating emotions and needs.
