We are living in uncertain times. It’s ok to not be ok. It’s ok to need extra emotional support right now. You may find yourself having difficulty managing anxiety & stress worrying about things out of your control. You may be feeling lonely, depressed & isolated. You may be having a hard time parenting your child who struggles emotionally, socially, academically. Your young adult may be struggling with finding their way towards independence. Your child may be exhibiting atypical behaviors or expressing worries & concerns that you don’t know how to answer. Psychotherapy can offer the guidance & support you seek.

Who we are, who we want to be, and how we show up can be different! I understand firsthand how the intersectionality of the multiple identities we all carry, along with life experiences can have a profound impact on our wellness and equilibrium. The great news is, I believe we all possess the skills necessary to be the best version of ourselves while acknowledging all of our individual parts that make us unique. As the founding therapist of Clover Care Counseling and Wellness, I believe it is never too late to start on the journey of self-discovery and transformation and I'm here to facilitate that space,

Hi, my name is Evangelos, but you can call me Evan! At the moment I am practicing through Telehealth only. If this is okay with you, please read on! The foundation of my approach to therapy is person centered and based on genuine human interaction. I understand that not every individual benefits from the same intervention, and it's for this reason I bring an eclectic tool kit, including but not limited to: Acceptance-Based, Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Emotionally Focused, and Relaxation strategies. My earliest exposure and training in mental health was in Hypnosis, and the interaction between our conscious and subconscious mind.

You may be carrying pain that didn’t start with you. If you grew up in a home where emotions weren’t talked about or love was conditional - you may carry a quiet, persistent feeling that something’s off, but you can’t always name what it is. Maybe you were the “strong one” in your family, the peacemaker, or the one expected to succeed without complaint. Or maybe you’re starting to unpack the emotional burden of having parents who couldn’t give you what you needed because they never got it themselves. These experiences can leave you feeling confused, hyper-independent, or emotionally overwhelmed without understanding why.

To quote Anais Nin, " We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are". When you are in the middle of a problem it is hard to find solutions because there is a lack of prespective. Friends and family may have their own viewpoint that make it hard to be objective. Therapy provides a non-judgemental place to find new solutions when old behaviors don't work anymore. I have over 12 years experience successfully helping patients find alternative ways of veiwing things and making decisions about what they want in their lives.

I work with individuals and couples dealing with anxiety, stress, communication challenges, depression, low motivation, emotional overwhelm, and self-esteem concerns. I also specialize in supporting teens who are dealing with school stress, peer dynamics, identity questions, family tension, and emotional highs and lows. Adolescents often feel misunderstood or pressured to have everything figured out. I create a space where teens can express themselves openly, learn to manage strong feelings, strengthen confidence, and develop healthier coping skills.

NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!!!!!!!!!! In my opinion, most people tend to see therapy as a one-sided conversation with little opportunity for interaction and/or getting to experience each other as real people. My motto is to be authentic, genuine and realistic with my clients. I want to help you accomplish whatever solutions you are looking for. The end goal is for you to enjoy the process while you experience yourself in new ways. Seeing a therapist may bring painful emotions to the surface, but seeking therapy doesn't have to be a painful thing.

Thankfully, even under these conditions, anger and anxiety management remain skills you can learn and practice.
If the way you express anger or experience anxiety is now damaging your life and relationships, it’s not enough to "vent your feelings" or "identify your triggers." You might need a brief, practical individual program that helps you learn and practice proven anxiety and anger-management techniques tailored to your unique experience of these feelings.

You are not broken — you are human. And being human means navigating struggle, change, and uncertainty. Sometimes the path we’re on no longer aligns with where we want to go. In those moments, therapy can become a space to pause, reflect, and begin again — with intention. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are. My role isn’t to lead or fix, but to walk beside you — to help you reconnect with your own voice, your strengths, and your sense of direction. Every person’s journey is different, which is why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy.

Anger Management Therapists

How long does therapy take for anger management?

Treatment duration depends on the person’s specific challenges and circumstances. There are treatments for anger problems that are shorter and more goal-oriented, like Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which can last weeks to months. Others, like Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) may last between six months and a year, while a more intensive treatment, like psychodynamic therapy, is open-ended, and clients may see their therapist for a year or longer.

How do you know if you need therapy for anger management?

Everyone gets mad from time to time. But when angry outbursts become frequent and cause damage to relationships, whether at home or in the office, it may be a good time to look into therapy. A therapist can assess where a client’s anger may be coming from, suggest strategies for averting angry outbursts, and help a client create a plan to become a calmer version of themselves.

Is there medication for anger management?

Medications do exist that help people mitigate the feeling of anger, but these are reserved for people with anger-related psychiatric disorders, such as intermittent explosive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, or in some cases borderline personality disorder. In these cases, antidepressant medications may be prescribed to help with the client’s symptoms. In most cases of anger management, however, talk therapy is the recommended treatment, along with lifestyle changes where relevant.

What’s the best way to encourage someone to seek help for anger issues?

It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either themselves or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
