I work with children, teens, young adults and parents who are struggling with anxiety, depression and adjustment disorders. My patients typically experience conflicts within their family system and may have challenges that impact home life, school/work and social experiences.
I specialize in helping children, teens and young adults understand difficult emotions and develop effective coping skills. I include family work as part of treatment. We schedule family sessions periodically to discuss issues impacting the family unit. I can coordinate and consult with schools regarding placement and programming .
I utilize a variety of evidence based practices including CBT and DBT. I work at New York Presbyterian Hospital in the inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric units as well as in private practice. My hospital work provides me with learning opportunities that keep my practice cutting edge in the field.

We are a group of 7 clinicians working as a team and supporting each other with individual weekly supervision and monthly peer supervision. We are trained in CBT and DBT and use these evidence-based practices in conjunction with interpersonal therapy.
