For over a decade, I have been working with trauma, and all of the ways that trauma can affect us: in our emotions, our bodies, our ways of thinking,our relationships and our spirits. Trauma can't simply be "talked away." It needs to be worked with respectfully and carefully.
My training includes body-based (Sensorimotor Psychotherapy), attachment focused (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and cognitively focused (trauma focused CBT) orientations, as well as work with parts (Internal Family Systems). Because each person is unique, and therapy is so personal, we will find ways of working together that best suit you.
