I am a specialized Licensed Clinical Social Worker who's worked with children, adults and couples for over 35 years, while supervising other clinicians for half of those years. I am trained in a variety of evidence-based practices, but, I've learned the best results come from being led by the heart in a therapeutic relationship. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where strengths are identified as well as areas of need for growth. Together we will identify what to focus on to bring joy back into your life.
I'm trained in a variety of modalities, including IFS, but I let our working relationship determine how we approach a problem. I invite you to call me and ask any questions that will help you decide if I am the right therapist for you. I don't have office hours, I use telehealth and/or phone so I have flexibility of times throughout the week.
I have extensive experience and training with substance abuse and addiction recovery, including the 12-step approach. I appreciate and value spirituality, as each may experience it. I am sensitive to the inequity and challenges our society presents for those who feel outside the margins of the norm and I strive to be nonjudgmental and unconditionally caring.
