I believe that everyone has the strength within themselves to overcome obstacles in their lives, but sometimes need a safe place and an outside view to help them through this process. Everybody could use support as they handle life, and therefore I believe everybody deserves a space where they can feel comfortable to explore their emotions and express themselves. Through strength-based models and solution focused techniques I work to help people increase their self-awareness of the situations they are dealing with, and find what is in their control to improve themselves.
I come from a wide-ranging background in working with children, teens, and adults. I work a great deal with families and marriages. I have extensive knowledge in school based difficulties in the areas of academic, social, and emotional struggles. I have worked a lot with grief and family crisis situations.
I work in this field because I am passionate about helping people through different life circumstances. I want to help people find greater joy and self-satisfaction, to ultimately improve their personal quality of life. My goal to the people I work with is that they find a place that they feel comfortable, open, and supported as they work through life.
