I offer late night online sessions for the night-owl, with occasional in-person weekend availability.
Hey you, the one who’s been holding it all in. Are you feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or like you’re constantly managing everything and everyone, while quietly losing touch with yourself in the process? Maybe your mind never rests, your body always feels tense, or you’ve been navigating the world in a way that doesn’t quite fit. Whether you're neurodivergent, emotionally drained, or just exhausted from trying to “keep it together,” you deserve a space where you don’t have to explain every little thing. Let’s create that space together. A place where you get to unmask, reconnect with your body, and be supported, not judged.

I am available Tuesday and Thursday evenings offering online and in person sessions.
You’ve learned how to survive, but now you’re wondering what it could feel like to actually live, to feel more grounded, more in control, and more at peace within yourself. I help young adults and individuals navigating trauma and life transitions slow down, tune in, and reconnect with themselves. Using a trauma-informed approach, my work focuses on the connection between your mind, body, and spirit because trauma doesn’t just live in your thoughts, it lives in your nervous system, your relationships, your energy.

I offer sessions in-person and virtually and currently have openings during the day and in the evenings.
I have a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their mental health journeys. My primary strength as a counselor is connecting with my clients and helping them understand the thoughts and feelings behind their beliefs and actions, and then helping them learn to love themselves. If we work together, I will strive to help you connect with your core, centered self such that you can make decisions and take actions from a healthy, confident, curious and calm place rather than from a frustrated, angry, anxious or depressed place. I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression and other common life issues.

The Syracuse office is now open for virtual and in-person clients.
As adults, feeling burned out, tied up in knots, or spread too thin is a normal experience, but that doesn’t mean we should just accept this as our fate. Being kind to ourselves means believing that we are worth the work. Children deserve safe adults to advocate for them and to help them navigate the large, complicated, and sometimes scary world. It is my goal with every client to meet them where they are on their journey, whether it’s someone who has been a lifelong work in progress or whether it’s someone who is just developing an interest in getting to know themselves better.

People seek therapy because of the challenges that come to them through times of transition. If you want to focus on healing without having to worry about a third party monitoring your personal struggles and demanding a diagnosis, I am happy to partner with you directly, creating terms that we negotiate together. Healing is likely the most important task that you'll tend to in your adult life. I will guide you in that process without pathologizing or labeling you. Becoming the fullest expression of yourself is a worthwhile and deeply personal task, not to be compromised by political systems.

Is it hard for you to believe that you can be happy? I define happiness as overall life contentment. I believe that your happiness is attainable and this is why I am a life coach. The ability to be happy is a skill. Good coaches have studied the game and learned skills and strategies that can be shared to help the team win and individual players self-actualize. In other words, there is help. There are skills and strategies that can be learned and used to find, protect, and experience your own happiness.

I offer both in-person and telehealth.
Couples in all stages come to therapy. Whether love is new and they're trying to figure out life's challenges before taking the next step, or love is old and familiar but maybe it hasn't been working well lately (or for the last several years). It's best to come in and sit down with a third party not connected to your family or friends and be able to sort through everything in a supportive and safe environment. I even work with people who have decided not to be a couple, but are committed to co-parenting.

Individual in person sessions available in Eastwood.
I work with individuals exposed to high-stress, morally complex environments who carry the weight of responsibility, exposure, and ethical conflict—often long after the incident has passed. I believe resilience is not about “toughing it out,” but about having the right support to process what you’ve been asked to hold. Relationships, whether with partners, families, colleagues, or oneself are central to healing and sustainable well-being.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
