You might be feeling burnt out, emotionally overloaded, or caught in that “what’s the point?” place that can show up when life is relentless. Maybe you look like you’re functioning, but inside you feel anxious, numb, depleted, or disconnected. My ideal client wants a steady, nonjudgmental space to slow down, regulate, and make sense of what they’re carrying. Together, we use art therapy and creativity to process stress, reconnect with your values, and find meaning again so life feels more grounded, sustainable, and genuinely yours.

I primarily work with women with ADHD and also welcome ALL neurotypes who want to incorporate spirituality & shadow work into therapy.
Hi, I'm Mel Joy, a healer with 25+ years of experience witnessing how resilient people can be. We all experience ebbs & flows of transitions and struggles, while constantly evolving. Life can be both beautiful & messy, and I'm humbled and honored to help you sort through it in individual and/or group therapy. Our minds & emotions uniquely shape our perception of reality. No two people have the same experience, and there is no such thing as a "one size fits all" treatment modality. No matter how different we may be, one thing we all share is the capacity for joy & pain, and everything in between.

Hi, I’m Olivia, your friendly neighborhood nonbinary, lesbian, AuDHD therapist.
Navigating your way through life can sometimes feel like facing endless hurdles, a tough inner critic, and a suspicion that everyone else has some guidebook to it all that you never received. You deserve a space that allows you to unpack the heavy stuff, to feel seen and empowered, unmask, and maybe even laugh a little. In our work together, I hope to help you find and embody your most authentic self, show curiosity and compassion to the parts of you that you fear the most, celebrate with you in your growth and achievements, and unlearn/re-author harmful internalized narratives you’ve learned from family, peers, and larger systems.

My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, women's issues, postpartum, workplace conflict, and chronic conditions.
Life gets hard, and sometimes you just need a little guidance to navigate through life's absurdity. I'm here to help you peel off those layers of societal expectations and find your true, unapologetic self. Think of me as your cheerleader, coach, and sarcastic best friend all rolled into one. Let's ditch the fake smiles and embrace the beautiful chaos of being authentically you. Together, we'll laugh, cry, and probably make terrible puns along the way. I am deeply committed to creating a safe and supportive space for my clients to explore their experiences and work toward growth and healing.

Are you feeling stuck or uninspired? Many people I work with do - between knowing what they “should” or want to do - and being unable to take the action to do it! If you’re here, you probably want something different—less pain, less anxiety, and less struggle, toward a deeper sense of who you are and what you need . Our work together supports emotional healing, and trauma recovery, and changes patterns so that clarity, confidence, boundaries and self-esteem emerge naturally. It's often intriguing and invigorating.

I am a licensed psychologist specializing in assessment with youth, adults, and families who exhibit defiant/challenging behaviors, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, trauma histories, autism, learning challenges, as well as other school and mental health-related concerns.
Psychological assessment includes meeting with client's for a finite amount of time to conduct clinical interviews, complete screening measures and any applicable standaridized testing, as well as creation of comprehensive written reports. This process should leave you with a clearer diagnostic understanding and targeted recommendations for treatment.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?
Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
