I most commonly see individuals who struggle with anxiety and depression and couples seeking to deepen their connection, improve communication, reduce conflict, and work through past wounds. My approach is an eclectic one, most heavily drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Therapy with me is engaging, supportive, and outcome-oriented, aiming to assist clients in boosting interpersonal skills, coping mechanisms, and self-worth.
With couples and families, I help strengthen the relational skills needed to gain mutual understanding and break unwanted patterns. I help individual clients gain insight into how their behaviors, thoughts, and decision-making serve them and/or undermine personal goals and assist them in developing more adaptive ways of coping and relating.
