"I Will Not Fear." These are words that empower my clients to battle and overcome anxiety. You are not your own enemy; anxiety is the enemy. Change the way you relate to your feelings and you will change your relationship with anxiety and depression now, not next year.
My approach is Solution Focused, letting go of the past and not fearing the future.
I have worked in multiple clinical settings, including but not limited to ACS, homeless shelters, foster care, preventive services, teen pregnancy, outpatient therapy, the LGTBQI community, and juvenile justice. My professional experience has provided me with skills and knowledge of the effects that trauma, family, government systems, bullying, and poverty can have on an individual's day-to-day functioning. I am a firm believer in getting to the root of the problem with the emphasis on a collaborative approach to achieve and maintain long-term goals.
Our practice provides specialized help for anxiety (generalized, social or health related), depression, trauma, grief, obsessive compulsive behaviors, relationship concerns, difficult life changes and/or adjustments. We offer both individual and couples therapy. Additionally, our lead therapist, Christina Grenoble, is an AASECT certified sex therapist. If you are looking to address a concern that is not listed, don’t hesitate to reach out to us as we may be able to still help or assist you in finding a therapist who would be the right fit.
My extensive experience working with adolescents and adults of all ages has underscored to me the need to hear what the person believes has sent them to seek therapy, how they attempt to deal with it, and how it has impacted them and their lives. This is done by my using active listening skills, and paying attention to where the client is in their search for help.. By doing so, I am able to explore and further discuss what is identified as the presenting problem. I also inform the client that therapy is a place to discuss thoughts and feelings.
If you, or someone you love, are struggling with past trauma, health issues, substance use, domestic violence, family conflict, stress, or Anxiety and Depression, it can be overwhelming to manage on your own without support. Trust, respect, and empathy are foundational in therapy. I strive to create an accepting and supportive environment to build a therapeutic relationship where you feel heard and validated.
Looking for some relief from daily stress? Feeling anxious or depressed? Let me help you take control of your relationships and your life. I believe that choosing to begin therapy shows incredible strength and a desire to invest in yourself. As a therapist I enjoy helping people increase their level of self - awareness and helping people change their way of thinking, feeling and reducing their destructive behaviors. Lets work together and find ways to make life more enjoyable.
Therapy is a journey and I strive to create a comfortable and safe space for my clients to experience that journey and grow throughout. Therapy is a partnership, between client and therapist, and should remain transparent, respectful and safe. Therapy is a space to be your true and unapologetic self and to feel support with no judgement. The foundation of my therapy practice is always person first. I am dedicated to provide clients with the skills and resources to promote healing and self-exploration. I encourage holistic treatment modalities and work intimately with my clients to learn coping techniques to apply in daily life.
I am currently offering tele therapy (Virtual Therapy) for those who need it given this moment of crisis we are all living through. I am a clinical psychologist who has extensive experience working with children and families. I have worked for many years with children and adults suffering from various mental health issues including but not limited to ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, Autism, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Dx, and Substance Abuse.
Over the past 37 years I have had much success in helping adults, teens and children deal with a wide range of emotional, psychological and behavioral problems. These include depression, anxiety, anger, and sexual difficulties. I have been especially helpful in treating people experiencing relationship problems, as well as helping people break through the barriers that hold them back in life. I believe with time, patience, perseverance and motivation psychotherapy can be an effective treatment for symptom reduction and personal growth.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, from an integrative framework, in which my clients and I design treatment to meet their individual needs, rather than having a one size fits all approach to therapy. I view psychotherapy as being a collaborative process, in which clients and I develop new approaches to improving their lives. I am an experienced clinical psychologist, who is supportive in my work with children, adolescents, and adults. Over the years, I have grown to appreciate the complexity of people's lives. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral, and evidence-based methods of treatment.
Dedication, education and experience are the qualities that will contribute to an active exploration of your unconscious and conscious mind in a safe and secure analytical framework. This therapeutic process is thrilling as one hears, listens and gains conscious knowledge of the wisdom of the unconscious. Psychoanalytical psychotherapy requires commitment, time, and an over riding desire for wellness. It does not promise a false, temporary relief, a quick fix, and/or health gained by following a therapist's directives under the false premise that others have the answers. The unconscious owns the answers and wellness.
If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, lack of motivation, or irritability you don't need to go through it alone. There is an open door and a friendly face waiting to assist you. There is a welcoming and non-judgmental place waiting for you. Too often we suffer in silence feeling alone and confused. We are here to help you heal and find your balance once again one day at a time in a trusting environment. We can meet with you in person or virtually at your convenience.

Hi, I'm Queenie. My training at a children's hospital has prepared me to help clients that suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, and bereavement as they face challenging life-stage transitions and chronic illnesses. These life challenges were often very overwhelming for my clients that are children, youth, and families from diverse cultural or ethnic backgrounds. My goal is to enable my clients to feel safe, supported, and encouraged as they build their inner strength and resiliency to face life challenges of any magnitude.
Does it ever feel like life isn't going the way you planned or hoped for? In many ways, our past can affect our present and make us feel stuck. Through deep healing work and spiritual exploration, you can start making changes to live your most authentic life possible.
Feeling alone in your grief? Many of us enter therapy hoping to get some quick relief from the distress that we are experiencing, especially when we are in pain. I welcome all of your feelings, and your questions. I will companion with you through your grief, your obstacles and aid you in your healing process.
I believe that just like any relationship, the more you are an active participant in our work together, the faster you will feel the relief you yearn for. The healthier you will become, gaining more clarity, inner strength and restoring your sense of purpose and direction that will sustain you.
"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." When working with you, it is my mission to help you reach your fullest potential. You already have everything you need inside of you, but I can support you on your journey back to your true self by peeling away limiting fears and beliefs, in order to live a life of self-empowerment. With a mixture of my committed support and your committed consistency in self-work, a life of fulfillment and authenticity is achievable.
There may be times in your life when you feel that the burden of your problems is interfering with a relationship, work, or in general with the quality of your life. Depression, anxiety, a loss, a problem in your past, or perhaps an unknown cause results in distress. A person can enter psychotherapy to find out how to deal with these problems and emotions more effectively. Asking for help can be easy or hard but talking to a caring professional can be the first step to alleviating a variety of problems.
In a compassionate, non-judgmental, and healing manner, I provide individual, couples, and family therapy. My commitment to your treatment will not waver, and the rapport we establish will be genuine. It is an honor to help people, and I take pride in the quality of care that I offer.
