I draw from person-centered, existential, somatic, mindfulness-based, and parts-oriented approaches.
You may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself or your future. You might be living with anxiety, chronic stress, chronic pain, or psychosomatic symptoms, and feel worn down by pressure, uncertainty, or self-criticism. I work with individuals navigating life transitions, complex trauma (CPTSD), and mind–body conditions using a somatic approach informed by Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and Hakomi. Together, we focus on building safety, reducing reactivity, and supporting a more grounded, connected relationship with your body and inner experience.

I believe that Psychotherapy is an in-depth collaborative creative process which allows freer and freer self-expression to create and expand therapeutic spaces, untold stories to be told, contradictions to be bridged, and emotions to be re-touched and re-experienced while integrating body-mind communication. I encourage you to access and mobilize the Cs of therapy in you, i.e. a commitment and connection with yourself, the curiosity to explore and understand your experiences and your creativity to open spaces and invent new journeys.

In our work together I will use a mix of psychodynamic work and behavioral therapies, including somatic/body based work.
Do you struggle with your relationship to food and your body in ways that affect your daily life? Maybe you’re navigating a major life transition, like becoming a parent, and feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure where to turn. You might find yourself wondering if life could feel more grounded, joyful, and connected. In a world that often feels chaotic and lacking in meaningful support, it’s easy to feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, disconnection, or self-criticism. But healing is possible.

You’ve done all the "right" things but life still doesn't feel the way you want it to. From the outside, things look pretty good and others think you have it together, but the truth is you’re anxious and overwhelmed most of the time. You’re tired of just coping and ready to actually feel better. Whether you’re going through (or contemplating) a big life change, struggling in relationships, grieving the loss of a pet, feeling stuck, or sensing something from your past is holding you back, you just want things to be different...and the surface level fixes aren’t cutting it.

Hello! I work with clients in anxiety recovery who are looking for a supportive space to better understand and manage their anxiety while also reconnecting to their authentic self. Anxiety can often show up as overthinking, people-pleasing, self-doubt, compulsive behavior, or feeling overwhelmed. My goal is to help you move out of survival mode and into a greater sense of self-trust, clarity, and emotional steadiness. I integrate evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, and Exposure and Response Prevention with a mind-body-spirit approach that supports deeper awareness and regulation of the nervous system.

My name is Jenna and I work with adults and teenagers to help them grow in whatever direction they feel is most genuine for them. Whether in work, school, relationships, or our own personal worlds, we often fall into patterns of being that serve a purpose, but may not feel fulfilling. We might cast aside our true feelings, values, and identities to protect ourselves from pain or judgment, causing us to lose sight of our authentic selves. I am passionate about providing an environment of warmth, empathy, and exploration to help my clients better understand and honor their true selves.

I draw from somatic therapy, mindfulness-based practices, person-centered therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, and existential and relational frameworks.
Healing happens when you feel genuinely seen—not just heard. I create a space where you can be your most authentic self, without needing to code-switch, explain your culture, or shrink any part of your story. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, complex/intergenerational trauma, identity exploration, body image challenges, codependency, and relational pain. I'm passionate about supporting Black and POC clients, neurodivergent clients, LGBTQ+ clients, and those for whom spirituality and faith are central to who they are — because your full self belongs in the therapy room, not just your presenting problem.

My ideal client is someone who recognizes a need and a desire for help. I often tell my client's that they are here because they desire to be heard, or for something to change because what they are currently doing is not helping. My hope is to walk alongside and expand our way of problem solving by assessing what is helpful. I believe you have the answer in knowing what work you want to engage in. My role as your therapist is to motivate and inspire us to work through our problems by gaining deeper insight over our 'why' through different tools.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
