Life is a journey, it may be a cliché, but it's a statement of truth. Now imagine traveling that journey in a car. Sometimes the road is smooth, and other times, we hit a bump or two and keep on going. Maybe a pothole slows you down, so you pull over because you can't move any longer. You're stuck and can't figure out how to get moving again. You realize you need someone to help you get back on the road.

Coaching typically includes skill-building, somatic awareness, reflection, and practical strategies tailored to your life and nervous system.
People who come to me often feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves, even though they’re genuinely trying to do the “right” things. Many are neurodivergent, disabled, LGBTQIA2S+, or navigating identity shifts, relationship patterns, burnout, or life transitions.
They want practical skills and clarity with space to be human. They’re looking for support that honors their nervous system, values, and lived experience, rather than pushing them to change who they are.
As a trans, intersex, queer, neurodivergent, and disabled coach, I work with people within these communities and with those outside of them.

I practice Gestalt psychotherapy, Harm Reduction psychotherapy, and Somatic psychotherapy.
I like creativity in therapy. And see therapy as a process. Although I know various techniques and am Gestalt-focused, I believe that it is you and I together who create and discover the unique path that moves you toward the place that you want to be.
Each client has an existing energy and power of his or her own which will lead to a more meaningful life. We may lose access to or come to doubt that power at some point in life. I help clients re-connect to and access that power.

Are you tired of feeling weighed down by external expectations and disconnected from your own voice? Maybe you’re used to being the responsible one, the accommodating one, the one who keeps the peace even when it hurts. Over time, you may have started to lose sight of what you want, what you feel, and who you are outside of what others expect from you. In therapy, my goal is to create a space where you can practice honest self-expression, better understand your emotions, and begin making choices that align with the life you actually want to live.

I use CBT, DBT, parts work, relational, and somatic approaches to help clients build resilience and reconnect with their authentic self.
Our bodies hold our stories — our joy and resilience, as well as our pain, fear, and the impact of what we’ve lived through. When stress, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions become overwhelming, life can begin to feel like survival rather than connection, authenticity, or truly living.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.
Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.
Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.
What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
