Making the decision to finally seek help is truly half the battle, and an accomplishment in itself. We may have been disappointed by past attempts at change, because while we can logically understand that our painful thoughts and beliefs may be untrue, they nonetheless still feel true. My approach to therapy bridges this gap by offering EMDR, amongst other therapeutic techniques. EMDR is a research-supported treatment for trauma, anxiety and other related concerns which allows for meaningful, long-lasting relief.
