Life coaching may be an effective way to work on problems on either a short-term or longer-term basis. It may also be a practical way to target a specific problem or need, then work on it in a concentrated way while also delving into your personal narrative in order to gain insight about patterns that may not be helpful to your goals. Focusing on a relationship question, life decision, career/creative block, or self-care/boundary-setting challenge, tends to be well-suited for life coaching sessions. In my WordPaint Coaching & Mentoring sessions, my role is to listen, empower, and offer objective feedback to help you advance.

People, accomplished in many areas of life , still benefit from therapy or a coach to help them reach their potential.
My favorite journey is with people who have decided they can't settle. They may not know what their future looks like. But, they know that a pedestrian life won't be their story. I support and challenge people to exceed their own expectations. I believe that you have everything that you need to create an amazing life . I see the greatness in you and your potential. Together we'll identify and strengthen the skills that you already possess, define your values & beliefs, and align them with an action plan to achieve your goals. But, you don't have to do this alone!

Through coaching and working with SE and iEq9, you will see quickly what actions you can take to shift life towards the goals that you love.
Everyone needs a life coach. Whether you need career-directional support, support with looking at your finances, or nurturing your closest relationships- life coaching helps you see past your past patterns or behaviors and creates clarity and joy. I love supporting clients to attain the highest ideas for their lives and go past where they have ever been with career, money and love. Recently, have been certified in iEq9 which is an in-depth personality assessment that provides invaluable information about how you communicate and how you see yourself. Finally, am completing my SE (Somatic Experience) training for certification.

I am a Life & Career Coach and my practice focuses on young adults with Asperger's and other learning differences. I started Spectrum Strategies because I want to help create a level playing field for these individuals. I work with both the individual and the family to facilitate the transition from high school to the vocational world, college or the work force. I help improve time management and organizational skills by breaking larger goals into smaller, more manageable tasks. I also develop tailored Action Plans to guide clients step-by-step toward personal and professional goals.

Pornography addiction can significantly impact your life and relationships but there is hope for recovery. I’m not just a mental health professional, I’ve been “you” for many years. I understand firsthand the personal struggles in your life and committed relationships that come with uncontrollable pornography use. The endless stream of attractive women a few clicks away on Pornhub, Onlyfan or Social Media is hard to quit even with all your willpower and promise to quit for the sake of your relationship.

While keeping a focus on specific goals that you have, I can help you to see things in new ways and to understand the key people in your life and at work.
I have two specialties - Helping couples to improve their relationships and helping people to change. With couples, I start with the belief that caring about each other doesn't always mean understanding each other and that many of us have never learned how to handle conflict effectively in a relationship. For those trying to change, I start with the assumption that we've usually already changed anything that's easy to change and that there are probably obstacles (often ones we are not aware of) to changing things we struggle more with - whether at work, outside of work or both.

I work with clients weekly and focus on fears and patterns that hold them back. I'm a licensed psychologist with a certification in life coaching , so sometimes we will co-create homework assignments to help my clients take 'baby steps' towards their goals in between sessions, in order to integrate our work into your daily life . I accept insurance for individual therapy, not couples therapy. My specialty is seeing couples and individuals re relationship issues. I'm offering a dating group via Zoom & a relationship skills group for those who want to improve their relationship.

My work is compassionate, interactive and decisive, always towards your greater authenticity. We focus on discovering, developing and achieving your goals and on reducing obstacles towards them. The lingering sense that you cannot reach some vital aspects of yourself.

Change isn't easy (daily practice & homework), quick (from 1-3 years) or cheap ($175 per 50 minute session - no insurance). But it is possible to increase your self-confidence, self image, & success. You cannot change others, only yourself. You cannot be passive, but must be active. You cannot blame others or the world, only accept personal responsibility. If you really want to change & are ready to commit, here are the 15 things you can do: 1. Change your negative thinking & replace with realistic & rational thinking, 2. Change unhealthy negative emotions to healthy emotions 3. Find meaning & purpose in life 4. Evolution guides us

Clients submit an autobiography before first session (waived for very private clientele), so Sven is fully fluent in your life BEFORE you even start.
The former psychologist of a client stated, "Sven accomplished more with you in 5 weeks than I did in 8 years!" I specialize in C-suite execs, struggling couples, and people in a lot of pain; men who hate therapy; women who never fit in but are driven. Particularly, couples & individuals who’ve had little success in therapy. Those who’ve never reached their potential. My only requirement is you trust & open up. If your pain has gotten bad enough that you’re finally ready to stop running from your sh-t & finally look at what’s really killing you, & go after what you really want, let’s kick some ass together!

Prioritizing what is important in your life and tuning in with what you feel and want, sometimes becomes a confusing challenge.
I love to work with people who juggle multiple cultures: your original one and evolving one. You might be here as an international student or on business. You might be here to raise a family but feel like you don't belong. You might be raised by 1st generation Asian parents. You might be in a relationship where you and your partner come from different cultural backgrounds. Do you often choose silence to avoid conflict in a relationship? Do you feel you are taken lightly because you are from different country or culture? I work with clients individually as well as with intercultural and interracial couples.

Whether it's symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar, trauma or feeling generally "stuck" in your life , through a collaborative dialogue we will work together to understand how dynamics in your life may be hindering you from living in a state of flow.
My primary goal as a therapist is to help you become the best and most whole version of yourself. I offer an integrative approach to psychotherapy that employs insight and reflection (Psychodynamic Therapy) as well as active coping skills and goal-setting (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I am also trained in Integrative Harm Reduction Therapy for those struggling with addictive and compulsive behaviors. Further, I believe lifestyle interventions around nutrition, exercise, meditation, and spirituality can be valuable tools for psychological well-being and I help my clients cultivate positive habits in these areas if applicable.

sensibility every day of your life .
For most of the psychotherapy world, symptoms are what's targeted. But actually, the focus must be on making you emotionally healthy, i.e., a well-balanced, happy, and fulfilled individual: In my 40 years of helping people, ultimately becoming emotionally healthy was the cure. All emotional ill-ease dissipates with a robust sense of self. Just think of those moments when you have felt entirely confident and happy, could you or did you experience any emotional discomfort? Of course not. For those moments, you were perfect. Everything felt perfect. Psychotherapies’ goal, and not just for particular moments, but to give you this

I work well with people interested in learning holistic, creative approaches for moving through difficult emotions, finding balance in life , and living in concert with one's most authentic self and values. I teach practices to better manage the stress, anxiety, disappointment and sadness that arise in every day living, as well as the unexpected challenges along the way - especially these most challenging times we are collectively facing. I also enjoy helping people find the story of their lives - making sense of where they've come from by shaping coherent narratives, and developing more compassion for themselves in the process.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
