A child of immigrants and a native New Yorker, Corrada earned her BA in Forensic Psychology and her MA in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. During her college career, she was a member of Psi Chi, the international honor society for psychology, and partook in a research study on gender differences. Her experiences at John Jay inspired many of her areas of interest, including gender roles and multiculturalism. Being unique and different is an integral part of human life, which is why Corrada’s foundation in therapy is not a “one size fits all” approach.
