Trauma & stress affect us psychologically and physically, I'm trained (certified) in somatic therapies including: EMDR, Brainspotting, & NARM.
We all go through times where we just don’t feel like ourselves, this may show up as anxiety, unpleasant body sensations or in repeating unhealthy patterns. Some people need help untangling relationship dynamics rooted in unprocessed childhood trauma. Or you may be experiencing grief & loss which is experience that can be difficult for others to understand. My practice is a place where we can work together to help you identify and process what is keeping you from feeling more settled and relaxed. You’ll learn how to put your thoughts and feelings and sensations into words, regulate your nervous system and re-connect with yourself.

Life can feel heavy when anxiety, depression, or trauma responses keep getting in the way. Maybe ADHD makes it tough to follow through, or relationships feel like the same fight on repeat. You don’t have to figure it out alone. In our group practice, I work one-on-one with adults, while my trusted colleagues specialize in supporting couples (including those in high-conflict), families, and individuals. We’re a team of down-to-earth clinicians who make therapy feel more like a real conversation than a cold clinical exchange. Our focus is helping you find the right fit so you can get the support you actually need.

Using psychodynamic, person-centered, and integrative approaches like CBT and brainspotting, I offer a safe, supportive space to explore your experiences, reduce anxiety, and create authentic, fulfilling relationships and a life aligned with your values.
You might feel stuck, misunderstood, or like no one truly gets you. Maybe you’ve spent so much time meeting everyone else’s needs that you’ve forgotten how to prioritize your own. You could be wrestling with self-doubt, imposter syndrome, or relationship patterns that aren’t working anymore. Deep down, you’re craving relief—relief from the anxiety, the overwhelm, and the constant second-guessing. Together, we’ll explore your story, uncover the patterns that have shaped your life, and help you rebuild self-trust and confidence so you can create a life that truly reflects who you are and what you want.

I practice cutting-edge holistic therapy called Brainspotting - a unique, science-based approach similar but simpler than EMDR.
If you feel overwhelmed and stuck, I am here for you. You've been in talk therapy but haven't seen the changes you yearn for. Maybe you're still carrying anxiety, hypervigilence or patterns you can't break. You need help right now and don't want to spend months waiting. I'm changing the traditional therapy model with intensive sessions - 90 minutes to full-day meetings designed to fit into your life and step up the healing process. I provide unhurried time to process trauma wounds, PTSD, grief and anxiety with a compassionate approach.

I integrate Brainspotting, attachment-focused therapy, CBT, and parts work to help overwhelmed moms better understand patterns underneath anxiety, rage, trauma, and emotional overload — without shame or perfectionism.
Motherhood can feel a lot heavier than anyone prepared you for. Maybe you’re constantly overstimulated, snapping more easily than you want to, feeling touched out, emotionally exhausted, anxious, or wondering why you don’t feel like yourself anymore. You love your children deeply — and you’re also overwhelmed by the invisible mental load, pressure, and nonstop demands of motherhood. If you’re struggling with mom rage, anxiety, birth trauma, pregnancy loss, or the fear of becoming your parents, you are not broken. Your nervous system may simply be carrying more than it was ever meant to hold alone.

Now accepting Lyra benefits. You deserve a life that feels good. We know that even good relationships can get stuck in unhealthy patterns. Do you find that when you are trying to connect with your partner you end up in a cycle of communication that's not helpful or productive? Do you retreat and silence it until next time? There is always next time… Maybe this time they will understand…we become louder in hopes they see how hurt we are.The more we aren't seen and heard the more resentful we become. The explosions become more significant and the intimacy ceases, now you are just resentful roommates.— It doesn't have to be this way.

Sigmund Freud wrote that the goal of psychotherapy is simply to free you “to love and to work.” I work with people struggling to establish or improve important relationships, their work lives, or both. Difficulties in relationships and career development often create tremendous distress and frustration, but those feelings can also be an invitation to grow and change. Working with an attuned and thoughtful therapist can be invaluable in helping you understand your experience and grow from it, helping you to deepen your relationships with yourself, your family, and life.

I often use Brainspotting in my practice.
Do you feel lost and alone? Do things that used to give you pleasure only add to your anxiety and sadness?  Do others not understand what you are trying to say? Do you mask your feelings in order to cope, and sometimes even detach from them altogether, when on the inside you feel frustrated, depressed, and even angry?  Are you sick and tired of feeling this way? Together, you and I will figure out what’s really going on. With me, you will be seen, heard, and believed. There is a reason for all these emotions. It’s going to be okay.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Let’s change the pain into peace once and for all.

This work is depth-oriented — using Brainspotting, EMDR, and parts work to go beyond managing what's on the surface.
You’re in midlife, and your affair has been discovered. You can't recognize yourself—having an affair feels completely out of character, and it’s hard to make sense of what’s happened. You’re caught between embarrassment and the private grief of missing the person you were involved with. You may be worried about your reputation, and anxious about facing what comes next. And of course, life hasn’t paused. I work with women navigating the emotional aftermath of their affair who need a space to talk things through, understand themselves more clearly, and figure out how to move forward when going back to “before” isn’t possible.

My style is warm and deeply relational, with advanced (and ever evolving!) training in IFS, TIST & Brainspotting.
My clients often come to me stuck in "fight or flight," feeling unable to break patterns despite having deep insight. They are plagued by a harsh inner critic or intense shame, and always seem to be over-extending.... even though they want better boundaries. I specialize in complex trauma, attachment wounding, anxiety & dissociation. I utilize somatic and parts-based work to get to the root of your "stuff" and help the nervous system to regulate. If this resonates and you're ready to work with the body and not just the thinking mind....you're in the right place!
