I support individuals in exploring their identities, healing from immigrant trauma, and moving through anxiety and depression with greater clarity and self-compassion.
In our work together, I’ll meet you with presence and genuine care. I integrate psychodynamic therapy to explore underlying patterns, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to shift unhelpful thoughts, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to build emotional regulation skills, and interpersonal therapy to strengthen relationships.

Whether you are feeling shaken by a major change or loss in your life, long term feelings of loneliness, or feel overwhelmed by your worries or your relationships, I've seen talk therapy help people feel more grounded, certain of themselves, and better able to manage their emotions.
Effective therapy is highly individualized. I integrate my training in CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, as well as a more psychodynamic framework, to best meet the needs of my clients. I've found including exploration around cultural, racial, spiritual and gender experiences to be both illuminating and empowering for my clients.

I tailor my approach specifically to you. Together, we will work in a non-directive, supportive, and at times, gently challenging environment. Many of my clients have childhood histories of psychological abuse and toxic narcissism. Often these are childhoods that look great on the surface, but underneath, are filled with unspoken pain and cumulative neglect. In recent years I have developed new perspectives on treating these issues. Please see my website for a look at my current writings. I also work with dreams as a way of understanding and working through past dysfunctional patterns.

Understanding the value that therapy can bring to a person’s health and wellbeing, I strive to provide a safe space for everyone who enters my office. I have experience working with a diverse population providing individual, couples and family therapy. Although I may be an expert in the field, I know my clients are experts in their own lives. By working together, I hope changes can be made and for their goals to be reached.

Many of the people I work with have accomplished a great deal in their lives, yet still find themselves facing something that feels too heavy to handle alone — whether it’s a persistent emotional struggle, a relationship that feels stuck, or just a deep sense that life could be better. Together, we can work on building the tools and trust needed to move through those places — especially the ones that feel overwhelming or filled with shame.

I see clients who experience anxiety, depression, stress, strains in romantic and family relationships, low self-esteem, unhealthy habits, and grief and loss.
I meet clients where they are—whether they're reaching out for the first time or looking for a fresh perspective. As a warm and attuned therapist, I prioritize truly listening in order to understand each person’s unique history, current challenges, and goals. From that foundation, I offer authentic feedback, practical guidance, and effective tools to support meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, solution-focused, and strength-based, always tailored to fit each client’s individual needs. I also hold a certification in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Counseling (OCDCC), which deepens my ability to support those navigating OCD

I love working with people in their 20s, especially those navigating a “quarter-life crisis” and finding themselves questioning career, relationships, identity, and direction. I’m drawn to highly intelligent professionals and creatives who are also emotionally sensitive and working on confidence and self-esteem. Many of my clients struggle with people-pleasing, shame-based perfectionism, and feeling like their worth is tied to productivity. I’m also especially interested in working with clients with ADHD.

Our work focuses on reducing chronic cognitive load, addressing anxiety and shame that accumulate after years of overcompensation, and developing ways of working and relating that are sustainable rather than heroic.
Many of the adults I work with are outwardly capable and inwardly exhausted. They function well enough that their difficulties are often invisible to others, yet daily tasks require disproportionate effort, elaborate workarounds, or last-minute urgency. Some identify with ADHD, some suspect it, and others resist the label while recognizing persistent challenges with attention, follow-through, and emotional regulation under pressure. These struggles are not rooted in a lack of intelligence or motivation. They reflect nervous systems and cognitive styles that have been pushed beyond what is sustainable.

This is the first step in dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, fear, guilt, and relationship problems.
The better one understands one's inner emotional life, the easier it is to change destructive, counterproductive or self-sabotaging behavior patterns and repetitions.

I primarily work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, PTSD and OCD who are hoping to make changes, manage unwanted thoughts and emotions and reduce the occurrence of maladaptive behaviors.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. My approach to treatment goes beyond symptom reduction, to enhance overall quality of life and lasting well-being.

We all have the capacity to grow and transform. I believe we all need a space where we can express the many parts of ourselves. Perhaps you are feeling stuck, unfulfilled or lacking motivation. Sometimes things in our present, or past keep us from living fully. This might look like excessive worrying, negative thoughts, chronic health issues, difficult relationships or loneliness. I have worked extensively with PTSD, traumatic grief, as well as single incident traumas, such as car accidents and natural disasters. I love working with trauma related issues and supporting people as they find their way back to themselves.

Through my years of practice I've worked with depression, anxiety, psychotic symptoms, stress and body dysmorphia, in addition to other issues.
Putting thoughts and emotions into words can have surprising and powerful results. There is a freedom in saying out loud what we have withheld or only said or ourselves. We begin to see our world from new perspectives, develop new ways of being in the world, and begin to make new choices. The purpose of a therapist is to be the person in your life undergoing this process with you, as a companion and guide. This is how I understand my work.

I work with people experiencing anxiety, relationship conflicts, eating disorders, and loss.
My practice is for those who are looking for a safe and affirming space to search for solutions to life’s challenges. To me, there can never be a one-size-fits-all approach to humans, and therapy should be uniquely tailored to individual history, needs, and goals. Together, we will take a closer look at the interplay of forces and experiences that shaped your sense of self. We will look for the root causes of your challenges, untangle lasting negative patterns and zero in on your unique strengths. Together, we can tackle the feelings of worthlessness, disconnection, loneliness, guilt, and grief.
