Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether you’re facing anxiety, relationship struggles, past wounds, or simply the weight of everyday stress. You don’t have to go through it alone. I work with people who find that they could use some extra support - whether to find greater clarity or simply help with putting one foot in front of the other. My goal is to provide a safe, open space where you can heal, gain clarity, and reconnect with your deeper values.

I draw from a range of modalities, including DBT, Somatic work, IFS, EFT, Psychodynamic work, and strengths-based approaches to create a tailored experience that meets you where you are.
As a therapist, I believe meaningful change happens when we feel seen without judgment and supported in understanding the deeper patterns that shape our lives. My approach is grounded in a non-pathologizing, trauma-informed lens, integrating practical tools with insight-oriented work to help you build a more connected relationship with yourself and others.

Grounded in Attachment Theory, I incorporate somatic work, mindfulness practices, sand tray therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Psychodrama into my sessions.
For people who have experienced developmental/complex trauma, life can be incredibly painful with many different issues and symptoms that can feel so overwhelming. In therapy, we can help you access and work through the underlying wounding that has lead to the ways you have learned to protect yourself. I believe that at each person's core lays the capacity for deep healing and connection, and it is within the context of safe relationships that we can access that I believe that the therapeutic relationship serves as a sacred space where individuals can feel seen, heard, and valued without judgment.

I believe that therapy is the journey of coming home to yourself. In our work together, we will begin the process of quieting down the external voices you may have internalized and learn to listen more closely to the part of yourself that truly knows what you most need. We will also focus on slowing down. By slowing down, we’ll identify what isn’t working and explore tools to help you grow, evolve, and feel more empowered. Therapy is a space to discover new ways of living and thriving as you move toward a deeper, more authentic version of yourself.

I work with adults who feel stuck in patterns in relationships, self-worth, and emotional regulation. Many of my clients carry the impact of developmental trauma rooted in early attachment and family-of-origin experiences. I am trained in the work of Pia Mellody and use a relational, trauma-informed approach to help clients understand and shift these patterns. Integrating EMDR, somatic, and parts-based work—and offering Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) when appropriate—I support deeper healing and lasting change in a warm, collaborative space.

We will explore where deep healing is needed, which will be facilitated through tools from IFS, Somatic, CBT, or plain old talk therapy, dependent on what is needed and what you are ready for.
I am Here to Help You Feel Less Overwhelmed, More Clear, and More Like Yourself Again. Do you look like you’re functioning on the outside—showing up, learning, working, caring for others—but inside feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, disconnected, or like you’re carrying more than people realize? Many people I work with describe overthinking, people pleasing, striving, feeling pressure to be “good enough,” or caught in patterns that leave you emotionally exhausted even when life looks okay from the outside.

Everybody deserves the opportunity to reflect on their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and patterns, and to cultivate a sense of peace and fulfillment. It’s a privilege to accompany clients on their path toward healing and personal growth. Gaining insight into how past experiences shape our present can open up new possibilities and empower us to make meaningful changes. I believe we carry wisdom within us, and through the therapeutic journey—by gently exploring the wounded parts of self—that inner knowing will begin to emerge, guiding you toward deeper self-care and understanding.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
