Are you living your best life? I believe that you are in control of your own happiness, and it comes down to making better choices to support your goals. Figuring out what those choices are is the hard part. Let's work together to help you make smart (though sometimes difficult) choices, while refusing to fall into negative, self-defeating traps. I will help you look for any underlying issues and come up with practical solutions. You can make lasting changes in existing behaviors - at least the ones that are keeping you from the life you deserve to have!

I offer virtual therapy sessions on a HIPAA-compliant platform.
My ideal client may or may not have previous experience with therapy, but they are someone who is beginning to recognize that their current coping strategies—whether emotional avoidance, impulsive or high-risk behaviors, substance misuse, or emotional reactivity—are no longer serving them. What makes them an ideal client is not their readiness or success, but their willingness—to show up authentically, explore uncomfortable truths, and engage in the hard work of change, even when it feels daunting.

I'm availableI'm available both in-person and Telehealth.
Many people come in feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck—like they’re carrying the weight of daily life without the space to breathe. On the surface, things may seem fine, but underneath there’s often persistent worry, low mood, or a sense of disconnection. It might be hard to manage emotions, feel confident in decisions, or find real joy in day-to-day life. Relationships can add another layer—whether it’s ongoing conflict, feeling unheard by a partner, or navigating patterns that keep repeating. Beneath it all is usually a desire for clarity, peace, and real connection—with others and with oneself.

I have immediate virtual availability for new clients for evening appointments during the week!
Therapy is often a space for deep, meaningful work—and it can also be a place where you feel seen, accepted, and even a little lighter. I believe healing is most effective when you can be authentic and free from judgment, and when the process includes moments of genuine understanding—sometimes lightened with a bit of humor to help ease the journey. My goal is to provide that kind of space: safe, supportive, and real.

Relationships don’t fall apart overnight , they slowly drift, strain, and fracture under unspoken needs, life transitions, resentment, fear, and exhaustion. I work with couples who don’t want surface-level fixes, but instead want to understand what’s really happening beneath the conflict and decide together what comes next. In addition to couples work, I support women and men navigating divorce, breakups, or the aftermath of long-term relationships. This phase often brings grief, identity loss, anger, and uncertainty all at once. Therapy becomes a place to process the loss and reconnect with yourself.

I have God, so why do I feel this way?? Just because you have your faith does not make you immune to life’s ups and downs. Anxiety and Depression are very real. It is not something you can just white-knuckle your way through. And no one expects you to. Maybe the issue is further complicated because you are struggling with an eating disorder or have a family history of depression. Whether these feelings are due to circumstances that are out of your hands or something biochemical is happening, you don’t have to figure it out alone. We are a Christian counseling practice that seeks to come along side you on this journey.

FAQ - About Telehealth Therapy
Is online therapy as effective as in-person?
Numerous studies suggest that online therapy can be as effective as in-person therapy. However, further research is needed to determine if online therapy provides the same benefits across all client populations. Individuals with severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, or those who may benefit from in-person check-ins, like those with eating disorders, may not experience the same level of benefit from online therapy. Nonetheless, the success of online therapy, much like in-person therapy, often hinges on the quality of the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and the client rather than the specific modality of therapy used.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of therapy conducted online?
One of the main advantages of online therapy is its convenience for both clients and therapists. It also allows clients who require specialized therapy to access a wider range of professionals than they could with only in-person sessions. Additionally, online therapy may be a more affordable option in some cases and often offers the same insurance benefits as in-person therapy. However, online therapy may not be suitable for everyone, especially those who value face-to-face interaction with a therapist. Therapists may find it more challenging to assess clients accurately in an online setting due to reduced nonverbal cues on camera. There is also the increased risk that disruptions caused by external factors, such as technology malfunctions, can hinder the therapy session. For these reasons, many therapists offer a "hybrid" therapeutic approach, alternating between seeing clients in-person and online.

Is online therapy suitable for children and adolescents?
Just like with adults, the accessibility and convenience of online therapy can greatly benefit children and adolescents. In fact, children and adolescents may be more accustomed to navigating online platforms than older adults, making online sessions feel more natural for them. Teens might also be interested in using additional online tools, such as therapist-recommended apps, as an adjunct to online therapy sessions. Apps for developing CBT skills, practicing mindfulness exercises, or tracking thoughts and moods can be helpful for teens receiving therapy. However, it's important to note that not all therapeutic modalities are well-suited to online therapy, especially those used with younger children. For example, play therapy, which helps younger children express their emotions, often requires in-person sessions to be fully effective.

Can I receive prescriptions and medication management with online therapy?
The ability for psychiatrists to prescribe medications through online therapy varies based on the medication and the states where the medical professional and client are located. While many prescribing regulations were relaxed during the COVID-19 pandemic, some states still enforce rules, especially concerning controlled substances, which may mandate an in-person visit before prescribing. Generally, however, medical professionals can prescribe non-controlled substances through online therapy sessions just as they do during in-person sessions.
